I looked at him with a smile of sarcasm.

That's just his reply.
Kaagad nitong tinungo ang lamesa sa kwarto ko at may kinuha.
Isa itong envelope.
"He's the contract. Read and sign it."
Inabot nito sa akin ang envelope at ang ballpen.
I opened it and signed it without even reading the terms.
"All done."
Napuno ang buong mukha niya nang pagtataka.
"I don't like reading contracts Mr. Clarke. They bore me."
Isang tango lang ang naging sagot niya sa akin. Kinuha nito sa akin ang mga papeles at may tinawagan sa telepono.
Hindi ko narinig ang pinag-uusapan nila dahil lumayo siya sa akin.
"Dress up. The choppers waiting outside."
Napakunot ang noo ko.
"Where are we going?"
Nagtataka kong tanong.
" Get married."
Nang isagot niya iyon ay agad na napaawang ang bibig ko.
Isn't he too excited?
"You're father will be waiting for us in England."
I smiled in disbelief.
Mas excited pala si Daddy ehh.
Agad ko namang sinunod ang utos niya at nagbihis na.
Agad ko siyang sinundan sa labas kung saan naroon ang chopper.
He guided me inside and we spend minutes to get to Hawaii para sumakay ulit sa eroplano patungong London.
