Griffin couldn't help but smile at the little whimper, it was so adorable how Quinn reacted to his scent so strongly. Seeing how he is slightly spaced out means that he is a bit scent drunk but what's wrong with just a bit? He makes himself comfortable in the nest of clothes and blankets before glancing back up at Quinn

"Wanna come here? It's quite comfortable."

Quinn still had a sense of hesitation; his body was as stiff as a board and he couldn't seem to relax a bit. With a nervous look around his room, he remains still. Not knowing if he has to follow Griffin's words or not. Was it an order? No... his voice is too soft for it to be an order... Is he expecting him to follow his words like an obedient dog?

Sensing Quinn's concern and hesitation Griffin exaggerates a yawn and lays down in the nest, shifting only to get comfortable while reaching for his phone. When turning around to glance at Quinn he notices him fidgeting with the end of one of the shirts in the nest.

"What's wrong?"

Quinn visibly gulps and doesn't make eye contact with Griffin. He shifts up onto his elbows to get on a better level to see Quinn.

"Quinn, can you look at me? What's wrong?"

No response, not even eye contact but something was wrong.

"Quinn... Please? Can you at least look at me?"

Griffin reaches a hand up to cup Quinn's chin but draws back when he sees Quinn flinch harshly. His heart drops and bites his lip, not knowing what to do. Quinn's breathing hitches and his jaw twitches subtly as tears fill his eyes.

What did I do wrong?

Griffin hesitates but he reaches out to Quinn's cheeks, cupping them in his hands no matter how hard to tries to pull away, "Shh... shhh, look at me, please look at me, love. Not gonna hurt you, you're safe, calm down."

Quinn makes struggling muted sounds as he closes his eyes shut and scratches at Griffin's forearms.

"No no, can you look at me? I can make you feel better if you listen to me."

His breathing is ragged and uneven, his gasps of air do nothing to help and his eyes open only to dart everywhere.

Griffin taps Quinn's cheek rapidly yet gently, trying to get him back down to Earth. One hand rises to clasp over his mouth, restricting him from breathing through his nose.

"Come on baby, breathe... you are alright, not gonna hurt you. Breathe in... and out... Breathe with me, you are going to pass out..."

Finally, Quinn's eyes meet Griffin's, but he shakes his head rapidly.

"Yes, you can. Come on, in... and out... good boy, let's do it again. In... and out..."

Behind his eyes is so much sorrow and fear, why is he so scared? Just what happened to him? Griffin continues to guide Quinn, whispering sweet praises as well. Once his breathing has normalized a bit Griffin removes his hand from his mouth. Saliva coated his palm, creating a bridge from his hand to Quinn's lips. He wipes him on his shirt before gently brushing a thump over Quinn's wet lips. He now focuses his hand on rubbing circles on Quinn's chest, watching as Quinn's body moves his hand he leans down to whisper.

"Such a good boy for calming down, I told you you could do it. Thank you for listening to me, such a good boy for that."

Quinn shakes his head subtly while taking a small gasp for air, Griffin raises a brow and leans down a bit closer to Quinn, "What do you mean? Why not? I think you are a very good boy."
