Prologue: cupids curse

Long ago lived a world with humans and gods it was peace and harmony that seemed to never be broken. And a happy relationships were being made between humans and gods until..

The day of destruction. The day that harmony was turned into disaster all because love was lost.

"This is a disaster! Cupid how could you be so careless! Because of you instead of love hate spread!!" One of the gods shouts

"I know this is an absolute disaster but there's away to spread peace and love again" Cupid says. Cupid lifts her arrow of love and puts an enchantment on it, and with a tilt towards the sky she shoots the arrow up. Everyone stands around as they watch the arrow explode into dusk sprinkling magic into the air.

With that love was spread again and peace was made. But the gods weren't happy with Cupid if anything they wanted to put her to the death for being the root cause of chaos in this situation.

"Cupid are you aware of the damage you caused?" Athena speaks

"Yes master Athena, I am terribly sorry for this inconvenience caused by my recklessness and foolishness. But I have a proposal to make" Cupid stated

"Go on"

"A human and a god relationship can be seen to cause misunderstanding, miscommunication, chaos and confusion. And the more that happened the more hate spread around causing chaos to break out and the god of war starting to put his power to use, but if I can put a spell and or enchant a curse on the gods and goddesses so they won't fall in love with humans." Cupid shared

"A believe that's a splendid idea Cupid. I shall also in force this as a law that shall not be broken, and with this law severe consequences may arise if broken." Athena says

"Then it's settled. We shall in force this and put this into effect at once Mrs Athena"

"I thank your participation Cupid"

(Present day Alvina POV)

It was a normal day at university the nymphs flying, elves doing their nature thing, mermaids swimming and the gods and goddesses were casting enchantments with the witch's.

And I'm just a silly little human who is a witch in training, Everything about my classes were boringgg and it made me feel jealous that everyone else is doing cool stuff

Then out of nowhere whispers start being heard and it gets louder and louder to a point it's not even whispering anymore. What is the gossip this time?

"Hey Elsie! What's everyone talking about that's so important?" I said with a look of confusion on my face. "Girl you didn't hear? Cupids daughter, Slavnia is coming to this school! They say she's a very mysterious and beautiful girl" Elsie says with smile on her face.

Cupids daughter huh? I've heard of Cupid the goddess of love, a very important goddess of our world but I never really knew she had a daughter.

"So cupids daughter is coming to our university? Wow she must be a very important person to ever attend here, she's probably going to make love and romance across the school. Haha" I chuckled a bit at the thought.

"Actually Slavnia is the goddess of the arrow, she's amazing in bow & arrow and she can make spear like objects that can attack or protect it's really cool. It has been said she doesn't really like the idea of love, kinda a surprise considering she belongs to Cupid" Elsie informs.

Being Cupids daughter but not being interested in love? That seems really odd but I guess she just doesn't want to be like her mother.

But I wonder who really is she and what is she doing here?

(Slavnias Pov)

"You will go to this university and that's final!" Mom yelled. I rolled my eyes and I didn't even care to argue back at this point. What's the point of fighting a battle that is already lost? I sigh

I didn't want to go to university and make friends and all that shit I prefer to be alone in my Archery course training with my bow & arrow.

"You need to go out there, make some friends, learn new things, connect with different kinds of beings and creatures, find love maybe you will find that special someone my dear" mom said.

I know mom is Cupid and all but I was never interested in love and relationships it's just something I would gag over when spoken of.

"Mom you know I couldn't care less about finding love" I said emotionlessly.

"And I can change that my dear, you'll see when the time comes my darling" she said smirking a bit.

I sent a quick glare At her and then went up to my room aimlessly and i collapsed on my bed in thought. My mind just exploded with thoughts as they were racing through my head as I stared up at the fancy chandelier.

"Me a goddess of archery against a school full of humans, witches, elves, wizards, nymphs and other gods/goddesses, how will I survive without losing my mind?"

This is my first book that is completely unrelated to countryhumans or geography but it still has to have magic and action can't be a book by me if it's missing magic and action.
