Location: Alola Region, Mele Mele Island
Dawn: So... are we in Unova now? It's starting to get late Notices the sunset
Ash: Uh yeah... No.
Pikachu: Pika...
Piplup: PIPLUP?!
Dawn: WHAT?! Where are we then?!
Ash: We're in Alola.
Dawn: and why are we in Alola?
Ash: Cause Alola is close to Unova, so we're taking a little break
Dawn: Ah... Well I heard that Alola has some good landscapes, maybe we should check out some!
Ash: That actually sounds nice. Let's do that! :D
Pikachu: Pika Pika! :D
Dawn: Alright! So I heard this...
Meanwhile deep in the sea, a shiny Popplio was swimming through the ocean, she was separated from her family. She was looking for them but unknowing to her a Sharpedo was stalking her. The Sharpedo is hunting for food, and sees the Popplio as prey. As the Popplio has finally found her family, she got ambushed by the sharpedo. It attacks the sea lion pokemon by biting her arm. The Popplio cries in pain attracting the attention of her family which consists of 2 Primarinas, and a Brionne. Seeing that their fellow family member is being attacked, they rush in battle to defend her. The Primarinas start out by headbutting the Sharpedo which makes it let go of the injured Popplio. However the Sharpedo doesn't hold back as it attacks one of the Primarina. The Primarina fights back and manages to get the Sharpedo go away. The Popplio is incredibly injured and is now unable to swim from the painful bite, and unfortunately for her, she gets abandoned by her family since they now see her as just a lost cause and fought that Sharpedo for nothing. Desperate for help she cries out... But no one comes to help The poor pokemon, The Popplio soon blacks out and after a while, gets washed ashore at the beach.
Ash: Is exploring the forest Hmmm
Dawn: Found anything interesting?
Ash: Woah! Look at those Exeggutor!
He points at a group of Alolan Exeggutor walking through the forest
Dawn: Those Exeggutors look... Long.
Ash: Yeah! They are not this long in Kanto!
Dawn: Huh... Well I wonder wha- Hears rustling in the bush EEP! rushes behind Ash's back What was that?!
Ash: Huh? Inspects the rustling bush for a second until... A wild Treecko appears Woah! It's a Treecko, buddy!
Pikachu: Pika!
Dawn: A Treecko? That's rare.
The Treecko then gets into a battling position
Ash: Looks like it wants to battle! What do you say buddy?
Pikachu: Pika! Gets into a battling position
The battle starts with Treecko using Leaf blade
Ash: Dodge it and then use Thunderbolt
Pikachu dodges the attack and then uses thunderbolt, Being unable to dodge in time, Treecko gets hit and takes damage. Treecko then uses Leafage. It's effective and Pikachu takes damage
Ash: Alright, now use quick attack!
Pikachu uses quick attack but Treecko manages to dodge it and then uses seed bomb, Pikachu gets hit once again making it seem like Treecko has the upper hand, however Ash and Pikachu aren't giving up just yet
