Video Game

Raven POV

I was sitting on the couch reading like usual but really I am bored. I've read the same sentence at least three times. Starfire and Robin are out on a date and Cyborg is visiting the Titans East. I put the book down and turn on the TV. I know it rots the brain but I cant think of anything else. I immediately feel even more bored as I flip through the channels. Then an idea comes to me. I get up and fly to my room and shut the door. I lift up my mattress and take out  my 3ds. I make sure my door is locked and I slip the game cartridge in. Its very rare I play video games but I've been doing it for years and no one even knows. I press my profile and begin playing. I've already passed the whole game but who says you cant play for fun. I turn up the theme music and stomp on the goombas. I forgot how much fun this is.

Beast Boy POV

It's only me and Raven at the tower but I don't mind. What Raven didn't notice was I was in the kitchen listening to music while eating a tofu burger. I walk out of the kitchen and dance to my room. On my way there I cant help but hear music that's not from my I pod . It sounds familiar like a video game. I take off my headphones so I can pin point where the music is from and I'm surprised its Raven's room. "What is she doing playing video games?" I turn into an ant and walk under her door to see Raven laying on her stomach with her feet dangling off the edge and a game system a few inches away from her face. She suddenly pauses the game and gets up. "Oh no." I whisper as I walk out of her room. I turn back into my normal self and as soon as I'm about to run away Raven opens her door.

Raven POV

I paused my game when I sensed something in my room. I didn't want my progress ruined but I wasn't expecting a certain green being just outside my door.

I look at him questioningly and he says "Hey Rae."

I sigh and say in my usual monotone voice "Hi Beast Boy." I walk away from him and head towards the kitchen to get some food. I find popcorn and throw it in the microwave. As soon as its done I take the whole bag to my room and close the door behind me. "Back to my game." I say as I shove a handful of popcorn in my mouth.

Beast Boy POV
I ran down stairs to greet Robin, Starfire, and Cyborg. Once that was done I told the guys to be quiet and follow me. They were doubtful at first but I got them to follow. I slowly walked up to Ravens door and swung it open.  Everyone looked at Raven shocked but Raven still hadn't noticed. Robin cleared his throat and when Raven looked over she jumped off the bed and threw a book at us with crazy speed. The book connected with Robin's head and Raven ran over to help him.

"Sorry I didn't notice it was you guys. Wait, Why are you in my room!"

Everyone pointed at me and she gave me a killer glare. I rubbed the back of my neck and said "Your door wasn't locked."

"Dammit." Raven said under her breath.

Everyone looked at her and said "You play video games?!"

I heard the music from the game stop and Raven ran over to it. She threw the 3ds on the bed and said "Thanks guys I could have passed that."

Everyone looked at her and I could tell Raven was getting annoyed. She pushed us all out of her room and locked the door.

"Don't tell anyone I play video games or your going to another dimension!"

Everyone ran away from her door and Cyborg had a smirk on his face.

"I hope she knows that there's  video cameras in her room." Cyborg said before walking off to his room.
