A nice, warm spring evening. I was in a frenzy.
These mixed emotions are making me crazy. I feel like tearing the skin off my bones. Though I'm not sure I mean it in a bad way. If anything, I'm a bit overwhelmed.
How odd it was - these things. Life had been too strange lately.
How odd it was - to be this way.My stomach turned and ached whenever I thought about it. I couldn't sleep for days.
I felt a bit manic, but I quickly fell back into a low.
I didn't know what to think.
I didn't know what I was feeling.
Was something wrong?
Was it right? My thoughts we're interrupted by someone's quiet steps. I turned around to reveal a familiar, foxy face staring back at me. I smiled and invited him over with a single waving motion of my hand.
As he took a seat beside me, I quickly scooched closer to him. I felt the cool aura of his, yet his warm skin was clashing with it.
"How's it going?" I hasted to pry, curious of my progress.
"I'm fine. And you?"
"Ah, I'm not -- it's --" I stumbled back on my words again, tongue deep in a twister of emotions and needles, when I was then quickly reminded of a recent, more joyful situation.
I smiled;
"Mhm, yeah! I'm alright, it's okay, actually!"
I dismissed the topic with a waving motion of my hand, releasing a breathy chuckle. He raised his eyebrow and suddenly, crept closer to me. It was as if a timewave was present, it felt like forever. So slow.
"Did something happen while you were out?"
My head flew back in deep thought.
"Not necessarily," I pondered on and about,
"well, something d i d happen, ah, but it wasn't anything bad! No, I'm rather happy!""You did seem r a t h e r pained before we started conversing a moment ago," his tone was concerningly suspicious,
"it was nothing, I'm always like this."
"And what happened, if you care to tell?"
I let out a concentrated hum and turned my gaze back to his,"I met someone, Tomoe, I made.." I smiled, purposefully rising the suspense,
"I made a friend! A friend, very
o d d l y similar to me, nevertheless, it's awesome!" I quickly brushed the topic of odd similarity to the side, making sure the main focus continued to be on something less complicated."Who's the friend?"
"A girl named Yua, no clue of her last name. She has long, pink hair. She's got facial features very similar to mine, her eyes, nose mouth, I can even see myself in her smile! It's like as if we're sisters," my facial expression contorted by a bit, knowing I ended up telling him the strange part of the story after all,
"Hm," he seemed a bit relieved, but he resumed his puzzled look,
"I might know of such girl. I've definitely spoken to her before. She brushed off my words and told me she was searching for somebody. She had a flushed expression. Almost crazed, frantic. She was in a hurry," he squinted his eyes a tiny bit, almost as if trying to decipher something.
I sat dumbfounded, trying to make something of his puzzled expression,
"huh, wonder if she's found the person yet," I furrowed my eyebrows and I turned my head away from him, taking a minute to think.
Silence stood between us again.
I anxiously tapped my fingers, attempting to fill that quiet, deafening space I hated so much,
