Aswi was sitting on the sofa of living room. She didn't attend office as she had no strength to deal with Vedansh anymore. She made an excuse that she was in her period and not feeling well. Nitya believed her as she had no idea what was happening in Aswi's life. She went to office leaving Aswi alone in the room.
After sometime she get up from the sofa and went to make some food for herself and decided to make some for Nitya too.
In between her work she heard someone entered through the main gate.
Aswi at first thought it was Nitya.
"Di, you came so early?"
But no reply came. This made her a little nervous. She went out the kitchen to see what happened but then she noticed it was Vedansh who was sitting on sofa with his head leaning backward and eyes closed, like he was too tired.
'Ise ab kya hua?' She thought in her mind.
Aswi prayed to God so that he leave early. She didn't attend office just to avoid him and now he is here to make her life hell again.
Aswi wanted to leave from the living room without catching his eyes, but perhaps her God didn't want that. Just as she was going backwards looking at him a vase broke by her hand which made Vedansh looked at her.
Aswi also looked at him at the same time. But what shocked her most that his eyes are not like the other day. Instead they are so calm and warm.
It seems like he is not the previous Vedansh who did dirty things to her.
In between her thought Aswi didn't noticed when Vedansh came near her.
"Aswi.." She heard him calling her name that's when she came out of her trance and saw him standing not very far from her.
"You...you...when did you come?" She was so shocked seeing him near her that she started to stutter.
"I was calling you for so many times, but you seems lost." He said ignoring her question.
"Ye...yes I was...I was thinking about something." She replied.
"But why are you here?" She added.
"I was feeling tired so Nitya told me to rest in her apartment." He said with a straight face which was nothing but a lie.
"You....you looked like him, but you are not him right?" She asked staring at him.
"Yes I am not him, I am.....I am Ansh.." He said.
Aswi was shocked hearing him. She had also thought the same when she first saw him. But now there is no way she can believe. She had already seen the real him. That he is not the Ansh she once loved in her childhood and waited for him but he was the monster who...
"What happened, don't you believe me?" Vedansh said seeing her expression.
"No..no I...I believe you. Of course you are...you are my Ansh." Aswi said bringing a fake smile in her face.
'There is no way I can let him know that I have already seen through him.' She thought in her mind.
"Why...why are you standing. Please sit down, I am bringing something for you." She said before going towards the kitchen.
But she couldn't as Vedansh stopped her.
"I don't want anything, please just....just stay with me for sometime." He said and hugged her.
Aswi was shocked in his behaviour.
'Bat to ayse kr rhe hai, jaise ise kuch vi nhi pata, Ghatiya insan.' She murmured in her mind.
