Chapter 9

KINZA

8 Years old

“ goodbye daddy “ I smiled brightly towards my father , a handsome man he waved towards me leaving me outside of my school. Besides me was Salman . He is my bff , I don’t know what this term means but he said that if I agree to be his bff then I will become powerful . I want to be powerful like My father so I agreed to his offer . Salman is a nice guy . My father turned on his feet and he was near his car . I smiled last time towards his back and was about to hold the hand of salman like always . His hands are soft . 

“ got you little girl “ my eyes widened as a large hand was wrapped around . my eyes went to salman who was struggling to get out of the big man's arms . What is happening ? Daddy, where are you ? please save me ? daddy…

Everything around me faded , there was nothing . It's just a dream . just a nightmare as mom says . 

I opened my eyes as something very cold water was thrown on my face . It's water . I love water when daddy used to take me to the beach , it used to be so fun , but this water is not like the water of the beach, it's really cold . “ open your eyes little girl “ a man spoke and I’m not familiar with this voice . I quickly open my eyes . There was darkness . thick darkness just a little light was coming from the side of the window. It was very small and dirty . 

Where am I ? 

“ Daddy” I whispered , No voice came except for a dark laugh . I didn't like this laugh even a bit . I tried to see the man in the dark but I could not make him out . fear creeped into my body . Is he one of the monsters? I tried to get up but I could not . I was tied with ropes . 

“ Leave me please “ I said with a weak voice . Another dark laugh .  “ Sorry little girl but this is your life now . You are paying for what your daddy dear did “ I could not understand what he was saying .  “ I’m sorry that my daddy hurted you- “ He cut me off with another laugh . I hate his laugh so much . Mom used to say there are some sounds so beautiful and some so ugly . His laugh was ugly . 

“ Your daddy didn’t hurt me , he stole what was mine . everything so i will take away his most precious thing, You “ tears rolled down my eyes as i shook my head . I miss home. Please let me go home . 

“ But first let me have some fun with his barbie doll. “ I can feel him getting up , I can feel him walking near and my heart starts to beat fast. What is he doing? I shook my head as he came really near . He smelled so bad .  “ Please stop , leave me “ I begged with tears making their way down my cheeks . he laughed again 

The my shirt went down 

He laughed 

He touched me badly 

He laughed 

I cried 

He laughed 

Then my pants went down 

He laughed 

He went everywhere on my body as i screamed 

He laughed 

I lay on the ugly ground , My body numb even to move . Am I dead ? Why is the door to heaven not showing? Something crawled on my naked back . What is it ? I could not move to look back so I let that thing crawl . Was I broken ? like one of my dolls ? Did he break me? But daddy said That no one can break you except your mind . I don’t want to break . No mommy must be waiting for me at home . she must be crying . I should get to her now .
