I unlock my apartment door to see Mia passed out on the couch, I walk over to her slowly. "Mia?" I whisper, she doesn't respond. "Mia I have your coke" still no response. Fuck this I whisper under my breath. I walk to the kitchen open the fridge and place it in the side.

My phone buzzes and I slowly take it out. 'Hi👋' an unknown number writes. 'Hey, who is this' I type in and hit send, 'Joost, sorry do I have the wrong number?' I let out a huff 'oh right' I smile and lean myself up against the fridge for more comfort. 'Okay! Thank god it's actually you Julie I was getting kinda scared😬' I quickly think of something to write, 'Oh! I am not Julie my names Maria'. 'sorry for texting you!' Joost writes no way he believes it. 'No Joost it is actually me I thought it was funny, it was' he goes from writing to online to writing, it sends. 'Oh great, well I was just thinking if you need any help with anything again I can help you. Also are you free tomorrow because I feel really terrible for embarrassing you on stage!' 'You didn't actually embarrass me, it's not like anyone knew it was me, but yeah I did feel it when people started to supposedly boo at me' I close my phone and set it down on the counter. I pulled out a cup and poured tap water into it, Joost told me to drink water when I get back so I me swell. My phone vibrates and I quickly grab my phone and unlock it. 'So is that a yes?' I smiles 'yesss' I type in. 'Great👍 cya tomorrow' I heart the message and close down my phone. It's nearly two now so I go to bed.

"Morning" I say walking into the kitchen as Mia is making breakfast, "what ya' making?" She turns around and smiles "pancakes you want some?" "Sure!". After Mia finishes making the pancakes,  we sit down and discuss last night. "So how did you find it?" Mia announces while stabbing her fork into her pancake, "fine until I was spiked" "WHAT!?" She lowers her voice "you didn't tell me that?". "Because you were asleep, Jesus" I decide to start cutting my pancakes up. "Wake me up then, so did you get sick or some shit?" before placing a piece of pancake into my mouth I respond "yep it was all good, did you see the coke a got you" her eyes widen and she walks to the fridge and opens it. "Oh thanks" "no problem" Mia sits back down and continues to eat her breakfast. "I need to tell you something" I quickly think about last night, should I honestly tell Mia, she is my best friend. "What? Is everything alright?" "Mmm you know when I went to the bathroom before the show?" I move my pancake around the plate to avoid eye contact with her. "Yeah" she mutters , I take in a deep breath. "So I met Joost before and I went in the wrong door I went to the right and it was to the left. Anyway then when I saw him come out I thought it was the bathroom and then I said I didn't listen to his music and just came along with you" I take in another deep breath "WHAT THE HELL!" "Sorry for not telling you". She rubs the back of her neck and holds a concerned look on her face "holy shit Julie, holy, is that it though?" "No". Mia closes her eyes as if trying to forget this "this is a fucking dream right?" She takes deep breaths in and out "yeah I'm not lying, sorry". "It's okay, but then?" Here I go again " so then when I took the water off you I accidentally dropped it and then a man picked it up. I'm guessing he spiked me. So I thought I would be sick after the show and I ran to the same bathroom. Because again, I thought it was the right bathroom and you didn't fucking tell me it was meant to be the left." "You didn't tell me you went to the right one though" "anyway then when I was trying to go into the bathroom, Joost Klein was in there because it is his bathroom. And then I tried running back the other way and-" "wait hold up you saw him after the show?" "Yep" she shakes her head and nods for me to continue.

After explaining the hole thing I stand up and take my plate to the sink, "so you're telling me you have his number and you're going out with him today?" "Yeah, I'm really sorry" "bitch don't be sorry but just letting you know after Eurovision this year his fans have gotten shit crazy and the paparazzi is wild and are always taking pictures of him, so don't look like you guys are in anyway for form dating or even in the talking stage" I look down "holy shit okay cool thanks" I give a smile and walk out "no problem Julie!"

'Hey what time are we meeting up?' I say walking into my bathroom to start getting ready to go out. 'Oh hey 👋 probably half six, is that cool with you?' "Okay cya then!' 'I have got this really nice bar restaurant off the centre of the town so no one will really see us, can I just pick you up?' 'That sounds great okay'.

I check my phone again 18:20pm , ten minutes. I step out of the bedroom to see Mia sitting on the couch. "Oh my god you look amazing the dress looks so good!" "Thanks he was wearing black last night so I thought he liked the colour" she starts laughing, "what? Did I say something  rude, wait does he not like black?" "No, you're totally crushing on him, and I think he likes black". "Mia what the hell are you on about I don't have a 'crush' on him, and that's so something a child would say" I let out a chuckle, "no girl its cute, anyway when is he arriving?" "6:30 do you want to meet him" "like this" she waves her hands around her hair and face "I look like a mess, and its not my date" "its not a date!" "Girl it so is". I blush and walk to the door, checking my phone one last time before the door bell rings. I push back my hair and open it, I can hear Mia go off giggling to her self as she walks off.

"Hey" I say smiling at Joost, he wears denim jeans and a plain black shirt. "Hi, you look nice" I blush "thanks I could say the same for you" "haha thanks". He looks me up and down and smiles, "here we should probably hop into the car before anyone sees us" "Oh right". Joost grabs my hand and we walk to the car.
