3rd person pov :
"Amma, you don't have to cook tonight, we'll order", Anu said
"Dear, it's raining. They won't deliver, do they ?" She asked
Ani replied,"No ma, they may take time. But they will deliver"
They all ordered food and was just catching up with each other. They decided to watch movie after completing their dinner.
"Guys, the order is 30 minutes away, so we can change and freshen up in that time", Ani proposed.
"We don't have dresses here, da", Adi said and Ankitha gave Shreyas a 'I told you' look which went unnoticed by the others.
"Idiot, we have dresses here. Come guys, mine cannot fit you all but Adi's will, That room come", Ani said and the boys went there.
"Anki, none of us will fit in your dress, you are XXS", Riya mocked as Anki rolled her eyes ,"I have baggy clothes and they are epitome of comfort", Ankitha said and they all went to her room.
"Anks", Shreshtha called
"No, not that Shresh, please. You can call me anything but Anks", Ankitha said
"Vi calls you that na ?"
"Didi, Jiju is stubborn but my sister in law is not, Yes Shresh ?"
"Yea, Bhabhs"
"That's much better than Anks", Anki said and gave out dresses to the others.
They changed and went down to see all the boys ready with pillows, blankets in the couch. The couch wouldn't fit everyone so they made a bed at the feet of the couch.
"Girls, the food is here", Virat said
After all the food, talks and fights they sat in front of the TV. All the single ones and Ani and Jon sat in the bed but couch set up. Anu, Virat, Riya, Sid, Shrey and Anki sat in the couch.
"Horror !", Vi and Ani chimed.
"NO !", Shardh and Anki said at the same time
"Definitely not", Anu added
"Oh, come on, guys. Don't be a spoilsport, horror would be fun", Jon said
"Seriously Jon ?!", Shardh asked, Boy was having a hard time.
"It's freaking 11:30 guys, I will argue to watch horror in bright day light and you are suggesting horror at this hour", Ankitha said.
"Anki, Just chill. It's not like ghost will come out of the television and will haunt you", Riya said
"Says who?", Anki asked knowingly
"The one who cuddles with someone after watching horror, fearing the ghost will take her to the cemetry", Adi said and the duo shared a good laugh while sharing a hifi but poor Adi got a pillow at his face.
"Why don't we watch avengers ?", Shrey asked
"No" "Nope" "I don't even know who they are". The no and nope was from Virat and Anushka, and the last one was Shreshtha.
"They too don't know who they are", Shreyas said clearly offended.
"Umm, Harry Potter ?", Ankitha proposed
"oh no, Anki. We are tired of watching you simping over that Malfoy", Ani said and the gang said nothing because that was actually true.
"You simp over Malfoy, Anks?", Vi asked her.
"Madly", Anushka answered for her.
"But why Malfoy ? Cedric, Harry and even Sirius was quite good", Shreshtha asked
"Cedric was not a bod boy, Shresh. Unlike Malfoy who was a freaking badass", Ani said
"Shrey, Are you not jealous ?", Vi asked voluntarily.
"Why would I be jealous over a fictional character, bhai ?", Shrey asked back wrapping a hand around Anki's shoulder.
"Jon, learn from Shrey, Hermione is a fictional character", Ani said turning to his girlfriend.
Riya was about to say the same but Sid interrupted,"Daniel Radcliffe is not, so don't tell me that", and Riya kept quiet.
"Horrorrr !!!", Vi yelled and eventually everyone agreed, the movie started and only 30 minutes into the film, Shardh and Anki continuously kept a hand infront of their faces to avoid watching the ghost.
Shreyas and Ankitha were snuggling into one blanket. So, without any struggle Shrey could see Ankitha being very much scared, he wanted to talk to her but she was too scarred, one sound she will definitely shout in fear.
But as if on cue, Someone's phone rang scarring the sheet out of everone.
"ADITHIYA!", Ankitha yelled
"Pick up the damn phone, dude", Shardh added.
"It's appa", Adi informed and went to open the door for him. Srinivasan was home after his work, he was surprised to see all the kids huddled together. (Of course, they are adults but to their parents they are kids obviously😜)
"Not Malfoy and Harry today?", Srini asked with a teasing smile
"Appa, you forgot Hermione", Adi reminded
"Adi, do you mind coming here?", Ani asked.
"No, no thanks. Guys play the movie", he said and everyone got back to their places.
Shrey took this chance to whisper "Anki, if you are scarred much, you can sleep. No one will notice". As if Anki was waiting for this, she leaned her head on his chest and snuggled like a kid.
Shreyas smiled and soothed her hair making her slip into a dreamland.
No one noticed as they were drowned in the flashback of the ghost and one by one slept cuddling their partners. Only Shreyas, Shardh and Adi were awake, Shreshtha sleeping on Adi's shoulder, Shrey noticed that Adi was having flashbacks and he looked sad.
"Guys, there is no way they are waking up, so let's just sleep here ?", Shardh asked as Shrey agreed and Adi just nodded.
Ankitha's amma was the first one to wake up in the morning and she saw all the kids huddled with one another. She hurriedly got her phone, clicked the picture of them. She smiled to herself looking at them.
They woke up, one after the other. Ankitha and Anushka was the ones still sleeping.
"Anks", Vi called her and got no response.
"Seriously, jiju ?! This is how you wake didi too ?", Riya asked and Vi nodded, Riya facepalmed.
"Watch and learn, Jiju", She said and dragged Anki by her hand,"Come on Anki, it is 11 in the morning, wake up. Bloody idiot", she said and Anki groaned.
"Gosh Riya, I feel really bad for Sid". Shreyas said " oh, acha. I've been doing this for years", She replied.
"Move Riya. Leave her hand, first" Shrey said and he ruffled her hair and said in a gentle voice,"Anki, wake up. It's late, you have to eat breakfast, na?", he cooed and to all of their surprises, Ankitha smiled and opened her eyes.
"You traitor, I have always shouted to wake you up and now you wake just to his voice, I seriously feel betrayed", Riya shouted and Anki hugged her Anu di. Anu already woke up hearing their chaos.
"Stop shouting, Riya", Anu warned.
"Shall we go and eat ? I'm hungry", Anki whined, making everyone laugh.
The rest of the went in blurr, they returned to their homes and Shrey, Shardh and Virat talked to the rest of the ICT members, as they are arriving for Shrey's engagement which is in 2 days.
