Okay,
So this is very random. This is not something related to this book or anything. I'm just here to share an experience. The reason I'm putting it out here is that I want to remember today and the way it felt.
This morning, I was on my way to college in public transport, and I saw this guy sitting at a distance from me. The first thing I noticed was the guy's forearm, which had tattoos.
I like tattoos in general, so I was looking at them. He had a tattoo of the Deathly Hallows and another of Harry's specs with a small lightning bolt scar. I being a potter head, felt really excited to see a fellow potter head.
I felt this sudden rush of joy, but I don't know why. Then I wanted to take a picture of those tattoos, but I didn't. Then I tried looking at his face but he was facing away from me so I could only see his hair. He had curly hair, another thing I like in guys.
Later, I just got on my phone but kept looking in his direction now and then. One such time, he was looking out at the road, and that's when I saw that his ears were pierced and he was wearing studs. That was another thing that caught my attention. After this, I really wanna see that guy, so after some time, I switched my seat somewhat closer to him.
He kept looking out for some time, but suddenly, he turned around completely, and we made eye contact for a second. I usually do not like making eye contact with strangers and would look away, but today, I didn't.
The guy was fairly good-looking. I continued crushing on him. He turned around a couple of times after that, but we didn't make any eye contact again.
Then the time came when he had to get down, and he did. He got down at his college, and I noticed that he was wearing formal attire. I was sad that this ended so soon.
I kept thinking about him from the morning. I don't know what that is, but it left a strange feeling of giddiness in me. All these years of my life, I never felt this kind of attraction for anyone. Although not very often, I do look at guys sometimes, but I never felt this kind of liking towards anyone.
I do not know for 100 percent sure about what I want in a guy. I'm pretty clueless. But this guy, it felt like he would check some of the boxes of what I want in a guy.
Till now, I only liked fictional characters, but this is the first time I liked someone who actually exists. All day today, I was feeling so good because of this experience.
Anyway, I know that this little meet cute will not happen again. We may never cross paths.
But, I seriously wish we do. I wanted to tell him that I liked his tattoos, but my introversion and social anxiety stopped me.
Sigh!! In conclusion, I fell in love at first sight with this curly-haired guy with pierced ears, tatted arms, and a pretty face.
