Over in another part of Canterlot, Jet Set is with Maeve going over a plan to kill you. She was showing him the Memory Stone.

Maeve: This stone has the power to alter the minds of those who remember things. You use this stone on (Y/N) and he will be of no problem to us.

Jet Set: Do you think that will work?

Maeve: It will work. I've tested it on some of my troops, and they don't remember anything.

Jet Set was confused.

Maeve: They Volunteered to do this. If that's what you're wondering.

Jet Set: I see. But why would you want his memories erased?

Maeve gets a confused look.

Jet Set: I've been observing him from afar. Those girls of his are allies, right?

Maeve: Yes. They are.

Jet Set: Well, why not turn his allies against him? Make those girls of his see that he's the enemy.
