(UNEDITED)
Yeonjun opened his eyes looking around him, there stood gray walls and gray marble floors. He stood in an empty hall with fire torches that lit the walls and chandeliers that decorated the ceiling. The place looked so unfamiliar and strange, that he felt an unsettling feeling in his stomach.

Suddenly there was a loud rumbling coming from down the hall, it sounded like gushes of winds hitting against the wall sending vibrations throughout the place. The prince took quiet and slow steps down the hall until he stopped in front of a door that was more large compared to the others, it was also decorated with gold details and a gold doorknob. When Yeonjun went to open the door, the doorknob felt cold to the touch. It was like dipping his hand into a bucket of pure ice.

He opened the door and his eyes lingered around the room, it was large and had pillars built in the middle with a wooden column standing in the middle. He heard an unknown but low voice from afar.

"Your wings look beautiful"

Yeonjun could feel a cold breeze as he took a few steps closer revealing a dark figure. The figure was tall hovering over someone. It had the horns of a ram and the legs of a goat. Large black wings spread along his back along with this heavy dark aura that surrounded him. He wore a mask over his face, the mask of an owl while his eyes looked down at the figure on the floor.

Yeonjun didn't notice until now that the floor was covered in blood and sharp tip formations of ice growing from the floor. Leaves were scattered among and ruptures decorated the floor. The prince's eyes averted towards the figure that the dark creature was hovering over, his heart dropped in sight.

It was Soobin.

Yeonjun looked over at the other figures on the floor blood surrounding them, it was Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Kai. They lay on the floor without movement, without sound.

Yeonjun looked back at the creature who held onto a large gold sword, a creeping smile showing below the mask. The prince just watched as Soobin lifted his torso using his arms but they continued to give up on him causing him to fall back on the floor. Try after try and failure after failure.

The narculises took heavy steps closer to Soobin.

Yeonjun yelled loudly but it was almost like they couldn't see him, he ran towards the boy in an attempt to help him but was quickly taken back by this invisible border that stood in front. He banged on it with his whole strength but it was impossible to go through.

"Please don't hurt him" Yeonjun whimpered his eyes covering up with tears as the only thing he could do was watch as the narculises took more steps towards Soobin. He felt all his strength drain from hitting the wall.

Before he knew it the sword flew down causing a dreadful and painful scream to exit Soobin's mouth. Yeonjun could feel his heart break watching the boy in such intense pain and suffering. He wanted to run over to the boy and pull him into a big embrace telling him that it was going to be okay but he couldn't. Heavy loads of blood drip down from Soobin's back on the gray floor. The owl-looking creature held onto large beautiful white wings.

Yeonjun kept fighting against the wall trying his hardest to go through but nothing worked. He watched as Soobin sobbed and broke down, his face streaming with tears and blood. It felt like forever as he watched Soobin lay on the floor, his whole body was weak and bruised.

Soobin turned his head slowly to look at the rest of the guardians on the floor before raising his head towards the wooden column that stood in the middle.

"No Soobin, don't" Yeonjun whispered to himself hoping that somehow Soobin would be able to hear him.

The deer-like boy slowly drags himself across the floor leaving traces of blood. The prince begs Soobin but it is obvious no matter what Yeonjun did, the past was already written. Soobin placed his hand on the column causing a smile to form on the dark figure's face. Once Soobin's hand made contact with the column a blue beaming light glowed lighting up the room. Soobin let out a painful scream as he held on not even letting go. The boy yelled out in pain as the column grew brighter and brighter making Yeonjun cover his eyes due to the glaring light. Heavy electric strikes were heard booming within the room making the chandeliers on the ceiling rattle and shake. It was becoming overwhelming.

Suddenly it stopped.

Yeonjun removed his hands from his eyes watching Soobin collapse on the floor.

"What a good boy," the figure says chuckling, Soobin lies on the floor unconscious while the narculises walks over to the wood column holding onto the massive wings. He flicks his hand calling over the other narculises standing around the room, he hands the wings off to the creature next to him before stepping closer to the column.

He touches the wooden column turning the bright blue glow into a black wicked color that's spread throughout the room. An hourglass formed right on top filled with white sand, the sand sparkled in light compared to its surroundings. The lead narculises flips the hourglass over causing the sand to start falling from the small hole on the other side.

"Get rid of them...they are useless now" The figure comments before grabbing the wings and walking out of the room.

Yeonjun watched as the minions grabbed the guardians and dragged their unconscious bodies out.

The prince's eyes opened swiftly, his whole body was covered in sweat. His lips felt dry and cracked. Everything that he saw kept repeating itself in his head. Was that what happened to Soobin? Yeonjun turned to his side and saw Soobin still sleeping by his side, the boy's back faced him. The boy's fingers were filled with hesitation while gently holding onto Soobin's shirt. He slowly pulled the shirt up revealing two large scars on his back. The wounds were healed but there laid pink marks that were going to be there forever.

Yeonjun's fingers linger above the scars, he felt a knot in his throat. He couldn't imagine how much pain Soobin must have been at that moment. How weak and helpless he felt. The boy leaned closer softly laying kisses on the marks. His arms wrapped around the boy holding him closely, he didn't know how deep he had fallen for the boy until now. He didn't want to let go.

He couldn't help falling in love with Soobin, and it hurt him. He knew both their times were never meant to be, Soobin's time was being counted in an hourglass while his time didn't even belong in this world. If only he could, he would do whatever it takes to stay by Soobin's side, but he knew that wasn't possible. Even if all of this was fixed, one of them would have to leave everything behind. He was torn apart. They both had their responsibilities in their world.

All Yeonjun could do at this moment was hold onto the boy longer, hoping that this moment would last forever.
