It was 11 p.m. Akankha was working in her laptop, when suddenly her phone rang up
" why is this girl calling me at this time" Akankha said to herself
" yeah say "
" umm..... actually I called you to inform that tomorrow you are invited in my home. Mom and dad are coming tomorrow" Annika replied from the other side
"okk... are you hiding something from me ?" akankha enquired suspiciously
" noo.. why will I hide something from you "
" yeah yea I know you very well, you are expert at hiding things from me"
" Actually you are correct I'm hiding something veryyy importantt" Annika replied mischieviously emphasising on ' very important'
"And may I know my dear madam , what is that?"
" A big noooo, be in suspense the whole night " Annika said grinningly and cut the call
" This girl seriously ....... arghhh"
Next Day At Annika's house~
Annika's house was filled with her parents and friends. Akankha and her group was discussing about the surprise. When they were cut off by Annika's voice
" Attentionnnn everyooone plss "
" so today you all are invited her...."
" fuck your formality and spill the beans , enough of your suspense" Akankha said annoyingly
Everyone laughed seeing Akankha's face
" Ok so on the very next week I'm going to hitched with my fiance and my soon to be husband Suyash, Suyash Bhardwaj" Annika announced merrily
There was a pin drop silence for a minute. Everyone was shocked except Annika's parents . It was visible in their face that they knew it.
" Whaaaaaaaattttt!" evryone gasped
" yesssssss, I'm getting married"
Akankha was shocked and a little hurt too. She was happy for her friend. On the other hand she was sad as her one and only friend didn't told her about relationship earlier. Seeing her face , Annika understood what was going in her mind. She approached Akankha and hold her hands and said
" what happened , are you not happy hearing this news?"
"i'm always happy for you , since long I was waiting for this day" There was slight moist in her eyes. To lighten up the mood, Annika hugged her
" sorry Akankha , pls don't misunderstand me . the situation was not in my side. This decision was taken in a hurry"
" yeah yeah ... don't worry" Akankha smiled
Everyone was indeed very happy and Akankha was in cloud nine. All discussed about the functions for few time and then everyone went off home.
