" yaar mere sath kya hora hai yeh sab ? kyu ho raha hai...... muje kuch samaj nhi a raha ...... wo mujse kyu shadii karna chahta hai?........" Akankha blabbered nonstop
( dude what's happening with me? why it's happening..........i'm not getting anything....... why does he wants to marry me?.......)
" STOP IT" Annika yelled irritatingly
" ab bata kya hua hai "
( now say what is bothering you so much)
Akankha took deep breaths and said
" ek rishta aya hai mere lia"
( a propasal has come for me)
" woah.... yeh toh khusi ki baat hai..... lekin tu toh aisa kar rahi hai mano koi jhatka lag gya hai" Annika replied with annoyance
( wow ...... that's a great news..... but you are pretending as you have got some shock)
" jhatka lagne layak he hai . tuje pata bhi hai kon aya hai mere rishta ke lia? "

One week later.......
As Akankha and her parents made their way inside the Singhania Mansion , they were warmly welcomed by every family members. Soon they were seated and the elders got busy in talking regarding the marriage. But here our poor Akankha was fevered and fidgeting with her fingers. She still cannot process the fact that she has agreed for this marriage.
Everyone's attention was carried away from their discussions as Rajveer made his presence in the hall. He firmly greeted Akankha's parents and took a quick glance at Akankha. Akankha became more nervous now but somehow she managed to look at Rajveer. As soon as she lifted her face , their eyes met for nanoseconds. Unable to hold his gaze, she quickly looked away.
After all the important conversations were done , Anuradha ,Rajveer's grandmother warmly said,
" Akankha beta don't you have something to say ? you are sitting quietly from that time."
" no dadi" Akankha replied
" So Shyamal ji we will call the priest and fix the date tomorrow" Ahuja , Rajveer's father said.
" okay then we will take our leave now" Akankha's father replied
Akankha went towards dadi and touched her feet as a token of respect. Dadi affectionately caressed her hair and blessed her. As she went towards Ahuja and Komal to do the same, they stopped her midway saying that girls of our family don't touch their feet and hugged her. Akankha's heart swelled with pride thinking that she is getting married in a family where daughter -in-law is approached as their own child.
Bidding goodbye to everyone while taking a quick look at Rajveer , she returned with her parents with a whirlwind of emotions in her heart.
