Saylen is more than exciting to go to college. It'll be a fresh new start! Where she can meet new people. Damien on the other hand can't start sobbing about it. He's always whining about how much he'll miss Blade and his mom.Saylen's mom left when she was little. It was just her dad who took care of her, and now she's leaving him. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't atleast a little scared.
**Narrator's Point Of View.**
I gave dad a big hug. "I'm going to miss you baby." He said with tears forming in his eyes. "I know dad. I'll call you everyday!" Saylen was about to leave for college. She had already packed her and Damien's stuff up into the car and was ready to go after saying goodbyes. Damien was sobbing to his boyfriend, hugging him tightly. "I'm gonna miss you!" He yelled between sobs. Saylen only looked away for a minute but when she looked back they were sucking each others faces. Gross."Damien! We've gotta go!" She complained. "I'll miss you everyday!" Blade cried. They kissed each other once more before Saylen dragged Damien into the car. Thankfully, Damien agreed on driving there. Saylen waved to her dad from the window as the pulled out of her childhood driveway. Okay, it was hitting her now. She could feel her heart ache as the sight of leaving but prepared herself for better. "you ready?" Damien asked with a small smile. "I'm ready."
Saylen sighed and put her headphones in. She was excited! Right? It's a fresh new start! But what if it's worse. What if she hates it? What if she gets her heart broken again? What if- "Say! Look!" There was small dog standing on a porch of a house they passed. It ran around in circles as they passed back and barked as they started to leave it behind.
Everything was going to be okay. Right?
