Since the death of her husband three years ago, Elodie Delacroix has lived a doleful and lonely life as she sulks in the hallways of her deteriorating winery. As the only person of the Arnette family left alive, Elodie is left to care for the Arnette Winery herself. Though she hasn't had anyone over since Felix's passing, she finally decides to invite over four friends for a small dinner party. When Lucien, Camille, Fiona, and Victoria arrive, Elodie plans to have a peaceful dinner and send her friends on their way. However, her plans get turned upside down when Camille is mysteriously murdered. Next to her body is a single word written in her blood: jealousy. Suddenly, Elodie is thrown down a dark and confusing path as more of her friends are killed, each with a single word next to them. The longer the murders go on, the more it seems they aren't even real. As if her psychological well-being isn't already skewed with her mourning, the murders only add on to the crowded jungle in her mind. Set in France on a large, aging plantation, The Party takes the overused idea of a murderous party and adds a dark and confusing twist. Peace is what we want when we ask for closure. It doesn't matter how it ends and what happens next. What's more important is that we are able to understand why things end up the way it is. But what we don't understand is, that not everyone gets the closure they want. Not because it's not time to have it but because it simply has no closure at all. The reason is that the reason for ending it is the reason why it came up to the end of it.

Aside from writing stories, I also like writing poems, specifically Love Poems. The feeling of being able to share about something, with the rhyming words flowing into yout mind... is just magical!
