Athena arrived at the apartment to get ready for her date with Hyunjin. As she looks in her closet to find something to wear and decided to go with comfy but cute since it would be a movie date on the couch with take out. She just decided to grab some leggings from her dresser that were black with their socks pulled over the top over the bottom of her leggings bunched up and paired it with a baby blue cropped sweater that falls gracefully off her right shoulder. She decided to just leave her hair the way it was that day.
After she finished getting ready , she grabbed some candles to place on the coffee table and the tv and picked up the living room a bit. Also she grabbed some of her cozy blankets to put on their white couch. As she was setting up she sees that her dog Mochi jumped on the couch and got comfy. She giggles and goes to cuddle up with her for a second. While laying there with Mochi , she hears her phone ding. She gets up to check it and it's Hyunjin.
Hyunjin- hey princess . I'll be there in 10 minutes! I can't wait.
Athena- hey! Okay I'm ready ! Can't wait to see you!
After texting Hyunjin back she decided to go ahead and pop some popcorn and place it in a bowl on the coffee table. She grabbed two bottles of water out the fridge along with to cans of soda pop. When she finished placing everything she hears the door bell. Her faces lights up with the biggest smile! She proceeded to the door to open it. There he was with a bouquet of flowers , dressed in grey sweats , a white tee that she could see peeking out of his black sweatshirt and a black face mask. He pulls off the face mask and smiles.
Hyunjin- Hi . These are for you! (He says with a smile on his face and kisses her on her cheek)
Athena- aw thank you! You're so sweet they smell amazing!
Hyunjin- They're magnolias and sunflowers.
Athena- Well they're absolutely lovely!
After this brief conversation she invites Hyunjin in the house. As they are walking to the couch he sees Mochi approach him and start sniffing.
Hyunjin- OH MY GOSH! Who is this cutie!?
Athena- Oh that's my baby Mochi! She's very sweet. I'm kinda surprised she's usually very stand-offish when it comes to new people.
Hyunjin- Aww isn't that sweet!
They make it to the couch and Athena is extremely nervous! She just can't stop staring at him . He's so lovely and handsome and a real gentleman!
Athena- so what would you want to order for take out? And would you like to pick the movie?
Hyunjin- how about I pick the food and you pick the movie?
Athena- sounds great (she says shyly)
Hyunjin decided to order some chicken and jjajangmyeon , two of his favorites. As for the movie Athena was having a hard time trying to pick something.
Athena- what genre would you like to watch?
Hyunjin- mmmm I don't care for scary but I think that would be a good movie to watch together. Gives us a reason to be cuddled up to each other
Athena- *blushing* ohh okay , sounds good.
Hyunjin- haha are you okay?
Athena- I'm just a little nervous, I want tonight to be perfect.
Hyunjin- aww you're so cute. Well I think it's going great, you look adorable and I'm just enjoying your company. So relax.
Athena- you're right!
Athena leans back on the couch right next to Hyunjin. They both are grinning ear to ear and decided to pick out the movie together.
Hyunjin- so you comfortable now?
Athena- very! (She says as she cuddles closer to him and lays her head on his shoulder)
Hyunjin- good! We've got about 5 mins before the food gets here and we need a movie soooo how does watching Annabelle sound?
Athena- that sounds good to me but you may have to stay to keep me protected . Hahaha
Hyunjin- I wouldn't be opposed to it. Haha
As they finally picked a movie , the door bell rings, the food has been delivered. Hyunjin gets up to get it but Athena beats him to the door and handled it.
Hyunjin- you didn't have to get up. But I appreciate that.
Athena- oh it's okay! You're my guest here I want to take care of everything for you.
They sit down on the floor in front of the coffee table and eat and have conversation before starting the movie so they can get to know each other a little more. Athena tells him about a time in her life where she was very sick and really didn't see any hope in her life at the time but someone that was a stranger saved her life and gave her more time in life. As Athena told him this it kinda broke his heart, imagining the pain she must've been going through and how life could've went so different. She also tells him during that time is when she found the music of stray kids and they just made her happy even when she was very depressed because of her situation. Even though she's okay now , there's always a chance it could happen again , which terrifies her to her core. As they finished eating they got back on the couch to watch the movie they had picked out together. They cuddled up to start the movie with their popcorn and drinks.
Hyunjin- this movie is extremely creepy
Athena- you're telling me (she says as she doesn't pull her eyes away from the screen)
Hyunjin- I'm glad I'm watching this with you I don't think I could've watched this alone.
Athena- me too (she looks at him with the biggest grin on her face)
Athena takes a moment to take in this very moment and just stares at him, feeling like she's in a dream. Hyunjin noticed and looks back at her . She just can't help but admire him . He looks at her beautiful blue eyes . And then he leans in for the softest kiss she has ever had before .
Hyunjin - I hope that was okay.
Athena- it was perfect (she says as she wraps her arms around him and he falls back on the couch)
Hyunjin- good (he says while laughing and holding her)
As they lay there for a while , the movie still going he notices that Athena has fallen asleep. He takes this moment to admire how beautiful she is , thinking to himself that he can't believe he actually likes someone because he's never really given it any thought. As he analyzes every part of her face he kisses her forehead and she snuggles even closer to him. He can't help but think about the fact he could be falling for a girl he just met but he has to remind himself to be careful per Chan. As he just lays there stuck in his head , he eventually drifts off into a deep sleep with his arms wrapped around Athena.
