It was Monday morning, 5:13am to be exact. A week has past since Natalie was last at school. She couldn't sleep all night. All she was thinking about is school, It was the only thing she was thinking about. The only words that were repeating in her head were "stay away from us." That also meant to stay away from Mikolaj. Natalie didn't how she could possibly ignore Mikolaj for the whole day, It seemed impossible. Natalie got so lost in her thought's she got a fright when her alarm went off. 6:00am." Already?" Natalia whispered to herself. She sighed and got up. She made her way to her closet and put on a long sleeve t-shirt plus some black jeans. You could still see the bandages through her white shirt so she put on a red jumper. She looked in the mirror, staring at her body for a while. "I should skip breakfast today." She thought to herself. She looked a little longer and walked of into the kitchen. She just poured herself some water and drank about half of what she pored, then spilt the rest out into the sink. She went back up into her room and grabbed her bag, she made sure she got everything and went back downstairs. She went into the bathroom and looked at herself one more time. Natalie still had a bit of a bruise under her eye but she couldn't find her concealer anywhere. "It's okay, no one will notice." She said to herself. She sighed, grabbed her bag and made her way to school.
As soon as she walked through the doors she could feel all eyes on her. Natalie didn't like this feeling. It made her uncomfortable. She just quickly rushed off to her class hoping she wouldn't Bump into Mikolaj. "NATALIE!!!" someone yelled. Natalie looked up and to her horror, it was Mikolaj. Before she could run away and hide he jumped at Natalie and gave her a big hug. "I MISSED YOU SOO MUCH!!" Mikolaj screamed with joy. Natalie just stood there praying that Kayla and Antoni wouldn't show up, but of course as soon as she said that, she noticed them glaring at her in the corner. Natalie gently shoved Mikolaj away and made up a lame excuse that she had to hand a note to a teacher and ran away. The only thing Natalie could think about in class is if Kayla really meant what she said. Natalie was so lost in her thoughts that she wasn't paying attention in class. She could here someone's voice echoing. It kept on repeating it's like it was saying her name. She finally broke out of her thoughts and when she did she found the whole class looking at her. "Look who finally decided to pay attention!" yelled out a voice. It was the teacher, Mrs Smith. Natalie could feel her face turning red. "Go to the principals office." Mrs Smith said with an annoyed voice. Natalie could here people snickering and laughing. She was already embarrassed enough she just packed her books and walked out the classroom. Natalie wasn't actually going to go to the principals office, at least not yet. She made her way to the bathroom but just as she was about to walk in someone pulled her from behind. It was Kayla and Antoni.
They pulled her back and corned her into a wall. "We saw you with Mikolaj today." Kayla said with a cheeky tone of voice. Antoni continued by saying "Didn't you here what we said last week?" He followed by throwing a punch, making Natalie fall to the ground. They both started laughing and pointing. Natalie felt something deep inside of her, something she never felt before. It's like something inside of her was building up ready to erupt. Kayla wasn't satisfied with Natalie's reaction. She took out her water from her backpack and started unscrewing it. She tilted the bottle and spilled it all over Natalie's head. Natalie looked up at them, It's like something inside of her just snapped. She lunged herself at Kayla with all the rage she was building up throughout these years. Antoni looked at her shocked but also scared. "HELP" he screamed out. Natalie had Kayla pinned to the floor, Kayla was laying there in fear. Natalie looked her straight in the eyes and threw a punch. Kayla screamed, Natalie punched her again, she kept on punching her until her face was covered in blood and bruises. In the meantime Antoni was getting a teacher from a random class a class that Mikolaj happened to be in. The teacher ran out and so did all the students in that class. "NATALIE ANDERSON!" The teacher yelled out. Natalie snapped out of her rage. She looked at Kayla's bloody face and then her hands, they were covered in Kayla's blood. Natalie looked around and her eyes stopped at Mikolaj's. He was looking at her with the most disgusted and disappointed look ever. Natalie knew she just lost her only friend in this cruel world.
Natalie got pulled of Kayla and got sent straight to the principals office. Antoni and Mikolaj ran up to Kayla straight away and helped her get up then brought her to the nurse. Natalie was sitting in the principals office looking down at the floor, the principal just finished calling her dad who wasn't very happy about getting a call from the school. "Natalie, what's wrong. You're not the type of person to be fighting people in the hallway." The principal asked. Natalie didn't answer. "Sigh, guess we just have to wait for your dad to come". Natalie just sat there, thinking about what she had done. She didn't mean to do that, she just got pushed past her limits. Natalie's thoughts got interrupted by her dad who just entered. He looked angry. Natalie just sat there. They talked for a while, she didn't listen to half of what they said, but all she knew is that she got suspended for 3 days and her dad was very mad. Natalie walked out the door with her dad, trembling at every step she took. Her dad just kept on walking. he didn't say anything. Everyone was looking at Natalie, whispering and laughing about what happened earlier. As soon as they walked of school grounds Natalie's father stopped, turned around, and gave her a hard slap. Natalie just stood there, she knew it was coming sooner or later. "You're walking home" He said trying to manage his temper. He went into his car and drove away. Natalie sat down on the steps trying to stop the tears from streaming down her cheek. She stood up and started walking, she didn't know where, she just started walking far away, hoping she would just fall off from the edge of the world.
