Tony Stark, otherwise the head of the mafia that rules the entire United States. Unofficially, of course. Ordinary people had no idea of his notoriety, but those who did know shuddered at the very thought of him. Tony had inherited the Italian Mafia empire from his father and had spread his business all over the United States. He made a fortune from usurious loans he made to the poor and desperate. Tony was famous for his cruelty and ruthlessness. He killed more people than he could count. It would seem that this man had no conscience. However, he lived his best life and nothing could prevent him from being happy.
He had only one sensitive spot: his family. His wife Pepper died when she was kidnapped by Tony's enemy. Tony then took revenge by slaughtering his entire family, even his most distant cousins, but what's done is done. Pepper was dead, and Tony couldn't even think about being with anyone else. So he went on with his business knowing that he would never pass it on to anyone without having an heir.
Tony sat in his office, dressed in a black suit. It was one of those days when he stayed in the office doing paperwork, so he was bored out of his mind. Every now and then he glanced at his shiny silver Swiss watch worth 120,000 dollars. His torment was interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Yes?" said Tony with relief, peering up from behind the papers he was reviewing.
A short-cropped blond man in a black suit entered the room. It was one of his co-workers. John, if he was not mistaken.
"Don't tell me they've escaped again," Tony warned the blond man without saying hello.
The Parkers had already been a problem for several weeks. You have to admit, they were smart, but not smart enough not to catch them after so many attempts.
Mary and Richard borrowed money from Tony about two years ago. Until now, they have not given it back, so in accordance with the agreement, the Parker's son went as a pledge. For a long time they escaped him, they were specialists in this. They were so convinced that they would repay the loan that they pawned their own child. This was beyond Tony's comprehension. They reneged on the deal, so the boy now belonged to Tony. Tony didn't know what to do with him yet, but he could raise him as a faithful employee. But first they had to catch this family.
'Sir, we did it! We finally caught the Parkers."
"Finally!" Tony jumped up with joy. The long-forgotten papers flew away with his movement and fell to the floor. Tony knew that if it had been bad news blood would have poured. "Let's go to them, I've been waiting for this moment for a long time" Tony circled the desk wanting to leave, but John stopped him.
"You have to deal with this one first. It's the Parker's kid," the man pointed behind his back, where the boy had been hiding until now. He was so quiet that Tony didn't notice him until now. He was trembling all over, and tears were glistening on his cheeks. He was visibly afraid. Poor boy, Tony would soon take care of him.
"And who do we have here?" asked Tony in an oversweetened voice.
The boy tried to move away, but John held him down. "It's okay John, you did a good job. The Parkers are already unnecessary for us, take care of them."
Peter shouted again trying to escape, but Tony grabbed his arm. The blond man left without questions.
Tony was left in the room alone with the child. The man lifted the skinny boy so that they could both see each other clearly and knelt down to be his height. He tried to put on a friendly smile "What is your name, boy?"
The boy did not answer for a while. Tony already thought he would have to punish the child, but suddenly he spoke up:
"Peter" almost whispered the boy.
