Her pov:
His expressions throughout my performance were indescribable and his eyes never left mine.
I know I am a good dancer after all, I learned classical in my teenage years but never in my life I imagined I would dance for my arranged husband who would shower all his love immensely on me just through his eyes.
Suddenly Lakshya said breaking our eye contact:
"Bhai ab toh haath chord do."
And I realised his hands were still holding mine.
"Chordne ke liye thodi hi na pakda hai."
His words brought tears to my eyes but I blinked them away.
Anu couldn't attend the engagement because it all was so sudden, Nishank went to interview for his job and Tanu went to attend a funeral from her dad's side of the family.
The relative wasn't close to her but her parents insisted on her to come, so she did.
"Chalo ab rings pehnao ek dusre ko."
My mother in law said and we both nodded.
We both exchanged the rings and the room got filled with laughter and applause with a fainted 'congratulations' sound.
"Welcome to my life, dear wife."
He said kissing my knuckles and everyone hooted while Lakshay and his friends hooted and whistled.
A red hue covered my cheeks and I lowered my gaze for a moment and looked back into his eyes which looked intensely in mine.
The photographer clicked and I snapped my eyes away from his to smile at the camera.
We completed our photoshoot and one by one everyone came bearing gifts to congratulate us with flowers.
Lakshay came up on the stage with his friends and they all congratulated us.
"Bhabhi ek baat ajeeb lagi apki"
Lakshay said, taking my attention.
"Kya?"
Agastya questioned him.
"Pure time nazrein neeche thi. Dance karne ke baad itna kaun sharmata hai?"
He said, folding his arms over his chest.
"Tu karke dikha fir sabke samne dance."
Agastya said, his voice a little too hoarse that everyone caught his attention.
Lakshay smirked and said.
"Challenge accepted."
He walked over to the front.
"Boys?"
He said.
"Yes Sir."
While the other 2 men followed him.
What's going on?
"Music."
Was it all planned?
The music started and Lakshay moved his body with some moonwalk and breakdown with the starting music.
My jaw was almost touching the ground with the rest of the crowd followed by Agastya and other guests.
"I never knew your brother dances."
