Fourteen - Twins

Y/N POV

Pansy held my hand as I screamed in pain.
"I can't do this anymore." I said, in between contractions.

"Yes you can. You are so strong and brave and beautiful." She said back to me.

Then, I heard Mattheo and Madam Promfrey come into the dorm.

"Pansy you can leave now. " Mattheo said to her.

The nurse headed straight to me and checked how dilated I was.

"You are 10cm dilated. You need to push now. " She said to me.

Mattheo shut the bathroom door and helped me take my pants off. The water had gone slightly cold while waiting but I didn't care. All I wanted was to get these god damm babies out of me.
I didn't plan on having a water birth but i don't think I physically have the strength to get out.

He held my hand and I squeezed it.

"Okay darling. I'm going to need you to give me the biggest push you have ever done. Can you do that for me?" She said to me.

I nodded and looked over to Mattheo. He gave me a reassuring smile.

"Okay now push." She said to me.

So I pushed. I pushed harder than I have ever done anything in my life.

I felt tears run down my face as I heard a cry.
"It's the girl. " Mattheo said to me.
Madam Promfrey hurriedly placed her on my chest and I looked at her face. She had green eyes and dark brown, almost black hair. She was perfect. I stroked her hair.
"I love you." I whispered, so that only she could hear me.

"Okay I need you to carry on pushing. The baby boy is still to come." The nurse said to me.

I nodded and then pushed.

I let out a deep breathe when the baby boy was placed on my chest next to his sister.
"I love you." I whispered to him, just as I had said to his twin.
He looked almost identical to his sister. There was only one difference. While she had green eyes like me, he had brown eyes like his dad.

I looked at both of them together. I could believe they were finally here.

"You are both perfect." I whispered to them.

I looked over to Mattheo who had tears in his eyes.

"Okay so who is going to cut the cords?" Madam Promfrey asked

"Mattheo can." I said to her

Mattheo looked at me.

"You sure princess?" He asked me

I nodded so he leant over and carefully cut both of the umbilical cords.

Then, he placed a kiss on my lips.
"Im so proud of you." He whispered so only I could hear.

Then he placed a kiss on both of the twins heads and said "I love all three of you so much. "

"Anyway, I'm going to need to take a look at the babies. They seem fine but I just need to be sure." Madam Promfrey said to the both of us.

I nodded and then she picked up the baby girl. I felt empty without her. I knew she was still in the same room but it felt weird. She had been inside of me for nine months and now she had been taken.

"Okay do you have a name for her?" The nurse said

I looked at Mattheo and he nodded.

"Raelyn Lily Riddle." I said to her

"That's a beautiful name." She said back to us.

Then, she placed Raelyn back on my chest and took the baby boy.

After she did the same checks she did for Raelyn, she asked us the same question.

"Do you have a name for him?" She asked

Mattheo looked at me and I nodded.

"Rhett James Riddle." Mattheo said, looking at the twins with pure love in his eyes.

She handed Rhett back to me and then said
"They both seem perfectly healthy. I will go now and let you have some privacy." She said to us.

"Thank you so much." I said to her
"Yeah thanks for everything Miss." Mattheo said to Madam Promfrey.

"If you need anything, you know where to find me." Madam Promfrey said before leaving the bathroom. I heard the dormitory door shut and that's when I looked at Mattheo.

"Wow." He said to me

"Can you help me up? I need to get dressed." I said to him. I was basically naked and I kind of fancied wearing some clothes when the others met Raelyn and Rhett.

"Yeah of course." He said back to him.

First, he took Raelyn out of my arms and went to place her in her cot.
Then, he did the same thing with Rhett.

Once they were both safely in their cots, Mattheo wrapped his arms around me and helped my into the bedroom.
I lay down on my bed watching my babies while he picked out some clothes for me.

When he gave them to me, I quickly put them on.
I sat back down but then Raelyn started to cry.
I picked her up and tried rocking her back to sleep but it didn't work.

"Maybe she's hungry." Mattheo suggested

"Yeah maybe." I said back to him.

I lifted my top and bra up so that I could breastfeed her.
As soon as she saw my breast, she latched onto my breast and started sucking on it.
It was a weird sensation.

Then, while I was in the middle of feeding Raelyn, Rhett started to cry, indicating that he was hungry. I guess he was jealous that his sister was being fed and he wasn't.

Mattheo picked his son up and helped latch him onto my other breast.

"Thanks." I said.

"Don't worry about it princess." He said

Then, he sat next to me and helped me while I was feeding the twins.

Since Raelyn finished first, Mattheo helped move her away from me and started to try and burp her.
Once she burped, he cradled her in his arms, trying to get her back to sleep.

When Rhett was finished feeding, I pulled down my top and did the same thing with him. I burped him and then tried to get him back to sleep.

When they were both asleep and in their cots, I yawned.

"You tired love." Matty asked me

I hummed in response.

"Go to sleep then. I will go to the others and make sure they know." He said to me.

"Thanks Matty, you're the best." I said to him.

Just as I lay down and Mattheo was about to leave. Raelyn started to cry.
I went to pick her up but my boyfriend beat me to it.

"It's okay. I'll take her with me. You just get some rest. " Mattheo said.

I smiled at him and he gave me a kiss on the forehead.

That is the last thing I remember before falling into a very deep slumber.
