Fifteen - meeting the boys

MATTHEO POV

I held Raelyn in my arms as I stood outside my dorm room.
I had to just stand there in silence as I thought about everything that had happened today. I mean I was a fucking dad.
I couldn't believe I was holding my daughter. My little princess. She looked just like her mother. Green eyes, basically black hair. She looked just like the girl I fell in love with all those years ago.

"Come on princess let's go see the boys." I whispered in her ear.

"Oh and just to warn you, they can be a bit loud." I continued.

I walked down the stairs, slowly this time. I had to prove that I was a better dad than my own father. I couldn't be like him. I wouldn't be like him.

I stood outside the common room.

Here goes nothing. I said to myself as I stepped into the common room.

I sat down where I usually sat with the others and all eyes were on me.

"Oh my god she is fucking adorable." Pansy squealed.

"Watch your language." I said to her.

"What's her name?" Theo asked me

"It's Raelyn Lily." I said to him

"And the boy?" Draco said

"Rhett James." I said

"Why are both middle names y/ns parents?" Draco asked me.

I have been waiting for this question ever since we decided on the twins names.

"Because I don't exactly want them named after my parents. You know cus of what they have done." I said back to him.

"Fair point." Draco said

I looked at my daughter with pride. She was mine. Well and y/ns of course. I just couldn't believe she was finally here.

After about an hour of everyone talking turns holding Raelyn, I heard someone coming down the stairs.

I had Raelyn in my arms when Y/n came in, holding Rhett.

"Hey beautiful. How was your nap?" I asked her.

"Shit. Rhett woke up and he wouldn't go back to sleep until he was fed and then I couldn't get back to sleep." She said, in an annoyed tone.

Yy/n passed Rhett to Pansy so that everyone could hold him and then she slumped down next to me on the sofa.

I wrapped one arm around her and the other one was holding Raelyn. I had a princess in each of my arms and I couldn't be more grateful for where I was.
I never expected to be a dad this young but I wouldn't change it for the world.

"Does Harry know that the twins are born y/n?" Pansy asked y/n.
She didn't answer.
"Y/n." Pansy repeated.
I looked over at my girlfriend to see why she wasn't talking and saw that she was asleep.
I smiled and then placed a kiss on her forehead.

"She's asleep so politely shut the fuck up." I said to Pansy.

Pansy rolled her eyes and then said "So does Harry know they were born?"

"I don't think so." I said to her

"What do you mean you don't think so?" She said back

"Well when I got Madam Promfrey he was with her but I don't think he knows what was going on." I said

"I mean he's quite thick so probably not." Draco said

"Don't talk like that about your boyfriend." Theo said jokingly to Draco.

"Fuck off." Draco grumbled.

I chuckled and I have never felt as happy as I was right now. I had an amazing friendgroup, a girlfriend I would die for, and two beautiful children.

Me and Y/n were sat on our bed. I had Rhett in my arms and y/n was breastfeeding Raelyn.
"So are you still staying over at mine in the holidays?" I asked her.

"Yeah why?" She asked me

"Oh it's just because my brother, his wife and his child are staying over too." I said to her.

"Why would that be a problem? I want to meet them." She said as she pulled down her top and started to burp Raelyn.

"I just thought you might not be ready to meet them yet. Especially now you have just given birth." I said to her.

"Well we still have a week left until the summer." She said "And anyway I want to meet your family."

"Yeah." I said before placing a kiss on her lips.

"I love you." I said to her

"I love you too Matty." She said back.

Once she was finished with Raelyn, she placed her down on the bed.

"Do you want to go have a shower? I asked her

"You sure. I don't want you to be left with both of them." She said to me

"They're my kids to. You go have a shower and I will get them changed." I said to her. She deserved some time alone. She had given birth less than twenty four hours ago for fucks sake.

She pecked me on the lips and then went into the bathroom.

After placing Raelyn and Rhett in their cots to make sure they wouldn't fall off the bed, I walked over to their chest of drawers.

I picked out two onzies, and walked back over to the bed.

I picked Rhett up first and put him in his. Once he was back in his cot, I did the same thing for Raelyn.

I lay down on the bed and looked over to  my babies.
I just lay there until y/n came out of the bathroom.
"Hey beautiful." I said to her
She was wearing one of my tops and a pair of my joggers.
"Hey." She said to me
Then, she came to me and lay down on top of me. She buried her head into my neck and said "im so tired."

I stroked her hair and said "Let's go to sleep then."

"Are the twins asleep?" She asked me

I hummed in response and I heard her whisper "I love you."

"I love you too princess." I whispered back.

I smiled and then carried on stroking her hair until I heard small snores coming from her mouth.
That's when I went to sleep.
I fell to sleep thinking pleasant thoughts.
My life was complete. I had two children with the love of my life. She was going to meet my brother, his wife and his child.
