Jihoon slid the transducer over the cookie-scented omega's belly while explaining to the couple what the screen showed.

The happy smile did not leave the faces of the future parents who excitedly watched how their little ones had grown quickly.

As soon as the procedure was completed, the obstetrician took his tablet in his hands, instructing them to accompany him to his desk.

Jeonghan helped the American get off the stretcher before heading to where the doctor was.

They both took a seat in front of him, leaving his tablet aside. Jihoon turned to look at them.

"The date of the scheduled cesarean section will be in week 39, that is, between November 25 and December 1. You will be admitted during that week, to perform some routine exams and decide the optimal day to terminate the pregnancy." He explained, Joshua nodded slowly processing the information given while Jeonghan seemed on the verge of a mental breakdown.

"Admitted? Is something wrong, doctor?" The aforementioned denied, watching as the alpha discreetly took his husband's hand, sensing how the omega released calming pheromones that managed to relax the CEO's face a little.

"As you know, it is a twin pregnancy, so we must take as many measures as possible to prevent any type of complication. Jisoo has several elements in his favor and his pregnancy has developed in an optimal way, but we should not trust ourselves." Happy with the answer, the alpha dropped his shoulders, feeling that he could breathe again.

The idea that something would happen to his husband and his children plagued him at any moment, he was being paranoid of the highest order, he was certain of that, but he could not prevent negative ideas from appearing in his mind.

It was almost midnight when Joshua noticed the absence of the alpha in the nest, he sighed heavily, while he got up to put on a robe over his pajamas, before heading to the first floor.

Going down the stairs he observed Jeonghan's study illuminated as he saw how the light timidly peeked through the door of the room. Normally his alpha regulated his work hours at home, however, in recent weeks, Joshua had noticed that after letting him sleep a few hours later, the CEO went to lock himself in his study.

This behavior of the alpha worried him after having spent two weeks like this, before entering the study he stopped in the kitchen.

Jeonghan was not one of those who opened up easily about his negative emotions, he was that type of person who preferred to listen to and understand the conflicts of others, offering his support and affection, but when it came to telling what was happening to him he rambled until ignoring the matter. Joshua understood this feeling since it was somewhat similar to his, however his problem was overthinking everything he said in relation to his feelings and emotions, while on the other hand, Jeonghan, when it came to his omega, did not hesitate to let put aside his introverted attitude to court and meet a certain young man born in Los Angeles.

The two had established an effective line of communication, so Joshua knew the algorithm to get his husband to talk.

He prepared some sandwiches, and some warm milk which he sweetened with strawberry syrup, just as the alpha liked, he added some fruits, organizing on a tray after a few seconds two cups with milk, grated cinnamon and sugar cubes in two small porcelain containers near them, and two sandwiches.

He carefully transported the contents to the older's study where he entered silently, placing the tray on the glass table that was in the center of the room.
