Eunchae swung her feet as she played on the swing in the garden, Joshua was sitting on a blanket placed on the grass next to him Jungwon was putting together a puzzle while a few steps away from them Jeonghan was grilling the meat they had bought a few hours ago at the supermarket.
It was a quiet Sunday and as a tradition the Yoons always tended to have a small barbecue or picnic in their garden, since the children had turned three years old this had become a tradition which had been going on for five years.
Eunchae was a little taller than her older brother, but both had undoubtedly inherited the mischief of their father Jeonghan and the adorableness of their father Jisoo, or as they used to call him mom.
At first the designer found it strange to hear that word, but it was impossible for his heart not to shake tenderly when these were the first words his pups uttered no matter how much Jeonghan tried to teach them the word dad.
Jeonghan took the food ready to the picnic table and placed a few steps away from where he was arranging the dishes on it.
"Mommy, Chae, and I are hungry." Jungwon whispered to Jisoo, who turned to look at the youngest of his children, and she nodded several times, making him smile.
Eunchae got off the swing running to where Jisoo and Jungwon were sitting, taking a seat next to them, watching as her brother invited her to place the last piece of the puzzle.
Jeonghan watched from his spot the adorable scene, where after the game was over Joshua kissed the cheeks of each of his pups, and Jeonghan could only sigh with some nostalgia, they were no longer carefree young people, now they were parents. He was married and had a beautiful family, one he had always secretly dreamed of.
With some stealth, he approached behind the trio of smiling little people he loved, attacking them with hundreds of tickles. Eunchae and Jungwon took refuge behind their omega father, who defended them from the "dangerous attacks."
The laughter echoed in their ears and hearts, both Jisoo and he swore that they wanted to continue listening to that melody every day of their lives.
Their little ones were already in the fourth grade, and time seemed to slip through their fingers when, in the blink of an eye, they held two chubby babies in their arms.
Jungwon and Eunchae exchanged a look with Joshua, and he nodded, approving the silent plan. This time, it was Jeonghan who ended up being attacked by hundreds of tickles coming from the little hands of his children.
"I give up, I give up." Raising his hands in peace pretending to catch his breath as his body rolled across the grass, Jeonghan announced, "You guys beat Captain Yoon." Both kids jumped for joy, the CEO making a little sound with his throat, catching the duo's attention. "In commemoration of that after lunch we'll go..tarararam.." He sang the last bit, repeating the phrase melodiously as the joyful anticipation built within his children. "Tarararam... I think Toram and Shuasumi are the ones who know where we go after lunch, not Joshuji?" The aforementioned laughed to pretend that he was talking to his little ones' favorite stuffed animals, those that continued to accompany them everywhere in the house and accompanied them at bedtime.
Joshua remembered how Jeonghan and he had a few Christmases ago locked themselves in their design studio to create those cute little plush animals that their children received more than gladly.
Toram was Eunchae's favorite stuffed animal, while Shuasumi was Jungwon's, both waited attentively for the response of the youngest of their parents, who placed one of his fingers on their lips.
