It had been a week since I had seen everyone, seeing Ray had messed me up it had sent me into depression but seeing Iwaizumi and Oikawa's reaction sent me into a deeper spiral. Oikawa had called and texted repeatedly but I never responded, I never answered the door when he stopped by. I felt gross and it only got worse the longer Iwaizumi didn't reach out, I felt like I was gross to him now. Yesterday I finally dragged myself out of bed and went downstairs to get water but I stayed on my couch turning on my favorite show.
As the show continued on I wrapped a blanket around me feeling awful. Another episode was about to start but I jumped when my phone started ringing, looking down I saw Oikawa's name again. My heart ached wondering if I was worrying him so I took a deep breath before answering.
"L/n-chan?"
"Sadly" I laughed weakly but I heard him sigh in relief hearing my voice and I relaxed slightly.
"Why did you just disappear huh?! Had me worrying sick!"
"I'm sorry Oikawa-san.. Seeing Ray just scares me and I hide afterwards so he can't see me"
"Aww L/n-chan I'm so sorry"
"It's not your fault Oikawa-san"
"Is that why you won't answer the door when I stop by?"
"Mhm.." Oikawa sighed so I started picking at my nails more wondering if he was getting frustrated with me.
"Can you do me a favor?"
"Yeah.."
"Come open your front door?"
"Oikawa-"
"Please L/n-chan. Nerumi says you haven't answered her either and I'm getting worried.." His voice sounded desperate, I sighed tossing my phone on the couch after hanging up. My hands shook as I walked over to the door with my heart pounding wondering if this was a trap. But I took a deep breath before unlocking and opening the front door as I clenched my fists trying to calm down. Looking out though my heart stopped and my eyes widened slightly seeing Iwaizumi on my doorstep.
"I-Iwaizumi-san.." I mumbled stunned he was here and he looked down at me with a conflicted look in his eye. I stepped back looking away but Iwaizumi held out his hand which held a bag.
"I brought you food and one of my hoodies" Iwaizumi stated softly and tears pooled in my eyes.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have acted that way" He sighed stepping inside and opening his arms to me. Iwaizumi always had more of a hold on me then Oikawa did, especially showing his soft side so watching him apologize and want to hug me melted my heart.
"Fuck you" I sniffled as I hugged him tightly and he chuckled as he hugged me back.
"Still as feisty as I remember" Iwaizumi hummed patting my head and I sighed pulling away nervously putting my shaky hands behind me.
"Oh L/n-chan.." Oikawa sighed, my eyes widened as I looked behind Iwaizumi seeing Oikawa walking up the steps.
"Oikawa-san" I mumbled as tears slipped down my cheeks and he smiled holding up a few blankets.
"I thought a good old fashion sleepover might be nice" Oikawa smiled softly.
"Since when did you become a big softie" I teased nudging his arm as Iwaizumi closed the door behind the both of them. Oikawa shrugged as he threw the blankets on the couch before grabbing the food from Iwaizumi, I watched him warily but I jumped feeling something being put over me. Looking up Iwaizumi smiled slightly as I realized he put his hoodie on me, I took a deep breath and Iwaizumi's cologne filled my lungs which immediately made me relax.
"So what are we watching?" Oikawa smiled as he picked me up and brought me back to my couch.
"Hey! Put me down" I whined blushing slightly as Oikawa sat down setting me in his lap. Iwaizumi sat down next to us grabbing my hand and playing with it as Oikawa handed me the tv remote.
Them both being here put me at ease quickly, I felt protected with them here and I relaxed into Oikawa as we watched whatever chick flick he put on claiming it was for me but Iwaizumi and I both knew it was really for him. Oikawa lightly caressed my thigh as he watched the movie intently as Iwaizumi traced his fingers over my knuckles.
"When's the last time you ate princess?"Iwaizumi asked softly and I looked at him shocked but my knuckles were flushed which always happened when I didn't eat much due to my iron deficiency. I tried pulling my hand away but his grip tightened as his other hand grabbed my chin turning me to face him as Oikawa paused the movie.
"Come on talk to me" Iwaizumi sighed as he sat up holding my gaze.
"Breakfast before the gym last I saw you guys" I mumbled softly before looking away clearly embarrassed and ashamed.
"L/n-chan.." Oikawa whispered softly as he sat up wrapping his arms around me as Iwaizumi grabbed the bag of food opening it. I scooted away from Iwaizumi but Oikawa shook his head as he held me in place.
"No I don't-" I tried but Oikawa shook his head as Iwaizumi handed me my favorite burger.
"Just a few bites princess" Iwaizumi stated softly, placing his hands on my thigh lightly caressing it to comfort me.
"You can do it. Come on two bites for each of us" Oikawa whispered in my ear causing me to shiver against him and I sighed quietly. I took the burger from Iwaizumi with shaky hands, they watched me intently as I slowly took a few bites for them both so they would ease up.
After awhile Iwaizumi finished off my burger, they praised me for eating half the burger and continued the movie. Oikawa started slowly drifting off so I looked at the time seeing it was really late and my stomach twisted in guilt. I got up and turned off the tv, Iwaizumi looked at me confused but switched his gaze to Oikawa seeing him almost asleep.
"Fucking idiot" Iwaizumi laughed and I shot him a glare as I turned off the living room light.
"Oikawa-" I tried but Iwaizumi shushed me as he stood up moving over to Oikawa.
"Where do you want him?" Iwaizumi asked as he picked up Oikawa bridal style, Oikawa's head instinctively resting on Iwaizumi's chest. Something about the action seemed intimate they had changed a lot since I had last seen them, it almost felt like there was something there.
"Uh.. My room is fine. The guest room bed isn't made so you guys can take my room tonight" I explained as I lead him upstairs and Iwaizumi quickly shook his head.
"No we can-" Iwaizumi tried but I shot him a glare shutting him up.
"This is my house. What I say goes so go sleep in the damn bed" I growled glaring up at him and he sighed nodding so I lead him down the hallway. Opening the door to my bedroom Iwaizumi stepped inside taking Oikawa to my giant king size bed, he placed Oikawa in my warm comfy bed covering him up with a blanket. I watched as Iwaizumi tucked him in and when Iwaizumi tried to pull away Oikawa sleepily grabbed Iwaizumi's arm.
"Stay.." Oikawa mumbled softly as he lightly tugged at Iwaizumi sleeve. Iwaizumi looked over at me but I nodded motioning towards the bed with a slight smile.
"Go ahead. Sleep with your boyfriend" I giggled turning to leave the room but before I could leave the room a firm arm around my waist. A soft squeal left my lips as I was tossed back onto my bed I looked up seeing Iwaizumi smiling as he walked over to the other side of the bed.
"You don't get to run away anymore" Iwaizumi stated as he slid into bed next to me.
"Iwa-" I tried but he shook his head as he grabbed my head lightly and pulled it into his chest. He quietly hummed lulling me to sleep but I flinched slightly as I felt arms wrap around my waist. Oikawa nuzzled his head into the crook of my neck and I let out a shaky breath as I wrapped an arm around Iwaizumi's torso before slowly falling asleep.
