He had enough as he waited for his mate. He took his ring off slam it on a table move spoke to Shuri who was going through chemo treatment for her on and off again. This time came back which was worse than before.
"Shuri pack up your clothes. We are leaving."
"ok daddy." He smiled at her.
She never argue with him over why to pack her stuff up just did. He turn moved packed his own clothes. His phone vibrated and he pulled it out looking spot it was from Little Wolf and he texted her back before looking away and packed. He heard soft.
"daddy! I'm ready!"
He turn spot Shuri looking cute in her saturday dress and hair in ponytails.
"Ok sweetie. Go wait inside the truck be good girl ignore everything else."
"daddy! You know I will!"
That made him smile softly before snatch up his duffel bag and followed Shuri drop the keys on table and went to his truck then hop inside the truck and drove off to where he knew no one would find him or Shuri expect for one person. He saw the creature standing outside.
"Wyatt hi sweetie! How our poor Shuri?"
"Auntie Boo!!!"
Shuri scream in joy. Wyatt looked at the two of them before parking the truck watching Shuri spring out of truck and run to Boo then Glass, Boo husband and old torture form out of nowhere and Ana looked out from her bedroom window then gone. Wyatt looked worried and got out snag his, Shuri bags. He turn to face Glass spoke.
"Shuri...her cancer back..."
"I know. We got doctors ready in case something happens to her. So just do not worry ok."
Glass grip onto Wyatt shoulder and let go and left. Wyatt looked over his shoulder and moved to follow Shuri scent and watch her playing on nintendo switch with Boo who was having fun. Glass sat keep score laughing happily.
Wyatt lean on the door frame watching the three. He looked at Shuri and wonder what happened to his life if she never came along. They all agree they would claim she adopted by him. But her human features, tiger features are not hard to miss. Wyatt smiled spoke up.
"Come on Shuri!"
he yelled cheerfully which made his daughter turn and give him biggest toothy smile that warm his heart for rest of the night.
