A week passes by and I've spent it dealing with testifying about my brother and his friends attempts at hurting Colin they all having been charged with attempted murder. I also got a little punishment of community service for being around those three without doing anything despite my shock. Currently I'm getting ready to meet Colin at his boyfriends entertainment company I having made him a black hoodie with one side a red and white plaid pattern it looking really cool and unique. I put the hoodie in my duffel bag then say cheerfully. "Noona I'm heading out!" She wishes me a goodbye and I head out deciding to take my motorcycle I getting on it after securing my bag. I then start the bike up and drive to the entertainment company where I park in a spot then head up to the guard telling him I'm here to see Colin and the group Colin told me to mention called enhypen. I'm let in and I head to the elevator where once I'm on the right floor I follow music I immediately nodding my head along as I stop in front of the correct door. I wait for the music to stop before I gently knock waiting to hear a "come in" before I open the door and step in looking a little shy and sheepish bowing. "Hi there. I'm Kim Lionel and it's nice to meet you all." I see one of the guys about to say something when Jay speaks up harshly. "Why are you here? Thanks to your friends and brother Colin almost died." I flinch a little looking guilty. "I'm so sorry but I had NO idea that they were planning to do that." Jay glares at me and Colin gently slaps his shoulder. "Jay quit it. He literally risked his life to get me out." Colin then turns to me worriedly. "How are your hands? I know they go cut up really bad when you broke the glass." I smile a little reassuringly. "They're okay. But I have something for you as an apology." He goes to protest but I wave him off and carefully unzip my duffel bag I handing over the hoodie I made Colin looking at me a little surprised. "Wow did you make this? It looks so cool." I smile a little shyly. "Yeah I just finished it last night." He smiles at me in appreciation. "Well thank you Lionel it looks great." I smile brightly when I suddenly feel eyes on me I turning my head only to look curious when I see one of the guys staring me down intently I feeling a little shy and nervous because he's really good looking. He gives me a kind smile before speaking up it surprising me when he speaks in English I immediately recognizing the familiar Australian accent. "Well it's nice to finally meet the voice that's been in my head for years. How are you holding up?" I gape at him in surprise before squeaking out a "I'm doing okay." His smile widens and he moves closer to me. "I'm Jake by the way." I blush a little and say shyly. "It's nice to finally meet you." I can feel everyone staring at us in confusion Jay speaking up cautiously. "Jake do you know him?" He turns to look at Jay and nods switching back to Korean. "Yeah he's my soulmate." Everyone gives us looks of surprise Colin breaking out into a smile. "That's so cool and coincidental." I smile a little and say softly. "I knew that he was friends with Jay I just didn't expect to meet him here." Jake nods in agreement. "Yeah we've spoken to each other every day for years but I never thought we'd meet because of his brother." Colin gives us a soft smile. "Well I'm glad you two found each other." Jake looks down at me with a smile. "Me too." I blush a little and look down at my feet shyly. One of the younger looking guys speaks up I getting leadership vibes from him. "We should probably get started with practice." Jake and Jay seem to nod then Colin grabs my hand and leads me to a back couch pointing out each member to me. "You're going to love watching them dance." I look at him curiously but he just smiles and looks forward I looking forward as well when music starts I instantly getting absorbed in it and watch curiously as they all start dancing I impressed and unable to look away from Jake as he dances. Soon the music comes to an end and they all pull the final pose I smiling and snap out of it when Colin gets up to go to Jay when suddenly a pretty guy with strawberry blonde hair comes skipping in he rushing over to the guy Colin said was named Heeseung. He greets him with a hug then slowly pulls away and looks at me curiously. "Who's this?" I feel a little shy and nervous but Jake just answers simply. "He's my soulmate." The guys eyes widen a little before he smiles at me kindly. "Hi I'm Killian. I'm Heeseung's soulmate." I give a little shy "nice to meet you I'm Lionel." He smiles before turning back to Heeseung I watching how cute they are together. Jake then makes his way over to me I giving him a little smile as he takes a seat beside me. "How are you doing?" I sigh a little. "Okay. I testified against my brother and his friends and they got attempted murder. But I got some community service." He immediately frowns. "That's not right you didn't do anything wrong and you risked your life." I shrug saying reassuringly. "It's okay I'm just glad my noona got me out of jail." He gives me a sympathetic look. "I'm sorry." I quickly shrug it off. "It's not your fault. At least I'm free now." He nods looking curious. "Where are you staying now?" I smile a little. "My noona is letting me live with her until I can come up with a job and get my own place." He nods and I shift a little unconsciously wincing from the still healing broken ribs I got from Sean last time I came home. Jake gives me a concerned look. "Are you okay?" I nod saying reassuringly. "I'm fine. Just a little sore." He frowns looking confused. "What exactly are you sore from?" I hesitate before deciding to be honest. "Last time I came home from working for Colin my brother broke my ribs and they're still healing and get sore when I move certain ways." He looks at me in horror and disbelief. "Your brother broke your ribs and you're just okay with that?" I shrug mumbling a soft "I'm used to it." He gapes at me before a look of guilt crosses his face. "I'm sorry I couldn't be there to help you." I frown a little. "Jake it's not your fault. My brother's an abusive homophobic jerk that's just how he is and I had to deal with it. I couldn't report him to the police because I'd get arrested too for participating in illegal activity." He looks a little curious. "Yeah you mentioned a bunch of errands that you'd do. What exactly were they?" I cringe a little but be honest not wanting to lie. "Drug deals my brother made me do. He'd supply the drugs and make me pick up the money. I hated it I just wanted a simple life where I could design my own clothes but I couldn't go against him." Jake frowns looking sympathetic. "Well you can do whatever you want to now. And you know they're looking for stylists at the company." I look a little curious. "Really? That'd be cool." He smiles and says softly. "I'll talk to the head stylist about getting you a job." I give him a little appreciative look. "That'd be great thanks." He smiles and my phone buzzes I grabbing it and see a message from Ellie noona about me having to start my community service tomorrow morning I sending her an okay back before turning back to Jake. "I should probably get going." He looks a little disappointed but nods and I hand my phone over to him. "Let me get your number and we can set up a time to see each other again." He smiles and types his number in I taking my phone back when he's done and say shyly. "It was really nice to talk to you face to face. And I'd love to come see you practice again." He blushes a little but says softly. "I'd love to have you come to practice again." I smile and get up wishing him goodbye before I turn to the others. "I've gotta go but it was nice meeting all of you guys. Maybe I can come over again." They all reassure me that I'm welcome to come anytime, except for Jay who glares at me, while Colin gets my attention. "I'll walk out with you." I look curious but nod and we start heading for the door after Colin gives Jay a quick kiss. We leave the practice room and head for the elevator Colin giving me a little smile. "So how's it feel finally meeting your soulmate?" I blush a little. "Amazing. I feel so lucky and thankful to have someone like Jake in my life." Colin's expression softens as we reach the lobby. "So I take it you won't be working for me anymore now?" I look a little guilty. "I mean I'd love to but flowers aren't my thing. And Jake said he could get me a styling position." Colin waves it off saying reassuringly. "It's fine Lionel. I'm glad you'll get to work in fashion." I smile thanking him and we part ways at the front door I heading to my bike where I get on and drive to noona's apartment where I head to my room and change then lay down falling asleep.
