(Jake's Pov)

Watching Lionel pass out I immediately feel my heart stop because he looks so pale and weak. Feeling tears well up in my eyes I'm surprised when an ambulance and the police suddenly approaches I quickly rushing over and am able to quickly tell the EMT's that Lionel was shot. I'm made to sit up front in the ambulance and I shift anxiously as we arrive I trying to follow the gurney but am suddenly grabbed by a nurse and lead to a private room where the nurse starts going over me. "Well it seems you have a nasty bump and cut on your head." I frown feeling worried and anxious. "Will my boyfriend be alright?" She gives me a sympathetic look. "I don't know. Right now I'm worried about you. The faster we get you checked out the faster you can get back to him." I grumble a little but reluctantly nod letting the nurse look over me and clean the wound on my head. Once she ensures I don't have a head injury and that my wound is taken care of I'm thankfully released and lead over to another part of the hospital the nurse telling me to wait in the waiting room because Lionel's in surgery. Sighing I sit there for a minute until I'm suddenly approached by some police officers. "We need you to make a statement about what happened. Did you know the man who kidnapped you?" I say a little sharply. "I knew OF him. He was my soulmates abusive brother." They both look at each other before turning back to me. "Are you sure he didn't help plan the kidnapping? He was apart of the last attack on someone." I immediately glare at them angrily. "He was not! As soon as he found out what was going on he ran into a burning building to save that person! And he got shot trying to protect me! If he was apart of it why would he risk his life?!" They hold their hands up in surrender at my angry tone. "Calm down we're just trying to figure out what happened." I huff at them annoyed. "What happened was his brother is insane and hates gay people so when Lionel came out and we started dating his brother decided to kidnap us." The officers give each other looks before turning back to me. "Well we have him back in custody. We'd still like to interview Mr Kim if he makes it through." I frown slightly at that statement before saying firmly. "If you're going to just stand there and be judgmental of my boyfriend then please leave." They frown but do in fact leave and I sigh before looking up when I hear a commotion I surprised when I see my members along with Killian and Colin they quickly rushing over. "Jake are you alright? We just found out from the police that you were kidnapped." I shake my head holding back tears. "Lionel's brother went crazy and kidnapped us because he blamed me for Lionel being gay. Lionel was able to get untied and he tackled his brother because he was pointing a gun at me and Lionel got shot." Their eyes all widen and even Jay looks sympathetic Colin saying softly. "Oh god Jake I'm so sorry. We should get ahold of his noona." Just as Colin says that the older woman comes running over looking upset and panicked. "What happened? The hospital just called and said Lionel's in surgery." I stand up looking upset and say in a soft broken voice. "His brother kidnapped us and Lionel got shot protecting me." She looks angry and upset her hands balling up into fists. "God that man's gonna be dead." She then looks at me sympathetically. "I'm sure he'll be fine. Lionel's strong." I try to give a weak smile but it turns out more like a grimace and we all take a seat in the waiting room everyone chatting occasionally but I stay quiet staring at the clock anxiously as time goes by agonizingly slow. After a few hours pass a doctor comes into the room me and Ellie noona quickly getting to our feet looking anxious. "He's stable now but he lost a lot of blood and he had to be revived. Right now he's still unconscious and he might stay unconscious for a while." My heart hurts hearing that but Ellie noona asks if we can see him the doctor nodding and says a nurse will come take us to his room in a few minutes. We nod the doctor leaving and soon a nurse comes over she motioning for us to follow her we quickly doing so as she leads us to a large room I feeling my heart ache when I see Lionel laying on a hospital bed he looking really pale and ashen. I quickly rush over to his side gently taking his hand in mine and sit in the chair beside the bed. Ellie noona walks over placing a gentle hand on my shoulder saying softly. "I appreciate you being there for him and taking care of him." I shake my head saying miserably. "I should have been able to protect him from his brother." Noona gives me a slight look. "You couldn't go up against Sean. And I know Lionel would rather die than have you get hurt by him." I grumble a little and she says softly. "You stay here with him I'm going to go pack some bags for when Lionel wakes up." I nod and she leaves the room the other members along with Killian and Colin telling me that they'll head home because they don't want to crowd the room I nodding and then look over at Lionel's unconscious form I sighing a little pitifully. "Please wake up soon. I need you." I keep holding onto his hand until I slowly end up passing out from exhaustion.
