AUBREY HALL. The picture of perfection, a gorgeous sight to behold. It was the most beautiful place I knew of, I myself had spent many days laughing and playing with the Bridgertons inside those hallowed halls. Who knew a building could bring back so many memories? The good, and the ones some wish to forget.

My carriage abruptly stopped, forcing me to grip onto the edge of my seat. It did not matter however, as I rushed to greet the familiar faces just a few paces ahead of me. Daphne Bridgerton, my best friend since age 13, I had not seen her since she became Duchess, I was ever so thankful to see her once more. No sooner had the footman opened the carriage door than I had sprinted along the grass, and flung myself into the girl's arms.

"DAPHNE!" I exclaimed with glee, as I attempted to unclasp myself, but she just held onto me tighter, "How I have missed you so!" We twirl together in excitement, clinging onto one another very tightly.

"Not as much as I! We have been apart far too long." She finally let me go, and it was now Hyacinth's turn to sprint into my arms. The young girl slamming herself into me, her head reaching my stomach, and knocking most of the wind out of me. Nestling into me, she pulls me to close to her, I have to gasp for my breath.

"Good to see you too, Hyacinth." she laughs, before giving me a little slap on the arm, her smile now souring, to stare up into my eyes, her brown ones, trying to stay upset.
"Why did you not come visit me Athena?" she scolded, "I have much to tell you. My violin has improved vastly since you saw me last!"

"Well done! I have something for you, as I was away in Italy for a little while." I whispered to her, then I turned to see the rest of the Bridgerton clan, now clamouring to see me too, Lady Bridgerton front and centre, in preparation to embrace me just as two of her daughters have already done.
"Actually, I have something for you all." I spoke, which caused a ripple of elation through the family I adore so dearly, even little Auggie, who was now in his grandmother's arms giggled.

"Dear, that is not at all necessary!" Violet chuckled, her pleasant jovial tone a comfort to me after living so long without it. After all, she was as much a mother to me as my own.
"I insist, really. I have much to tell you all!"I giggle, before taking Daphne's arm and walking with her into the grand building I was in anticipation of seeing. The two of us practically skipped, as we used to do as little girls, whatever else occurred, the two of us would always have the other to fall back on. Some things never change.

"SO, ANTHONY." I nudge the Viscount, "I hear you have your eye set on this season's diamond." Brushing my shoulder against his ever so slightly, just to annoy him as much as possible, trying to tip him over the edge. He was ever so short- fused. I personally enjoyed pushing his buttons as much as possible, much like the rest of his siblings.
"Dear God, nothing gets past you." he laughs, a deep rumble coming from his stomach, I was glad to have made him laugh, a rarity, usually reserved for those he held in high esteem. Though, it was not my goal.
