The second set proceeds with Tooru still unable to refine his serve enough to get it in, you observe him carefully every time and still can't seem to pinpoint what is wrong.

His toss is good, his power is phenomenal, and his contact is perfect, why can't he land it in?

You wonder if it's his jump as in he's not getting on top of the ball, or maybe he's not snapping his wrist enough. You dive deep into the little things that could be wrong in your head but maybe it is just time he needs.

The ball inches closer and closer to the end line every time, so you conclude he just needs to keep trying.

The game progresses and Mad dog keeps making stupid mistakes, you tap your leg as Oikawa patiently (sort of) works with him.

He's utilizing his new addition well, using him as a decoy like Karasuno does with the orange kid is the most effective in my opinion but Tooru is smarter then me with this stuff.

You cringe that you admitted that mentally and vowe never to admit it out loud.

Speaking of Tooru, he was currently egging Tobio on through the net. You couldn't really hear what he was saying, but the cocky versus the angry look from Oikawa and Tobio made you infer.

The game is close but Seijoh has been leading this entire time by one to two points, then it's Oikawas turn to serve.

You watch in anticipation as he does his routine, you lean forward, your leg bouncing up and down.

As soon as he tosses the ball up, you know it's perfect.

The ball lands in their court like a flash of lightning, almost like someone hit it from the offensive line.

You stand up and cheer, jumping around now that he finally got it. The next point is lost though and you sit down quietly, crossing your hands in your lap awkwardly.

The other team then subbed in a bench player, who kept serving at Mad Dog to try and make him late to attack, "Clever number 2." You mutter, observing him as he sets Tobio on the right side.

The team takes a time out because Karasuno is using their momentum to catch up and you stand outside of the circle with the coaches, "I love how you let them figure out their own solutions." You say to the coach, and he smiles, "Our ideas are needed at times, but our full trust in them to be creative is what keeps everyone on and off the court thinking."

You nod as you watch the third years talk out a solution, "That's what makes Seijohs Boys volleyball team."

Trust in themselves and trust in those around them makes this team. That's why Mad Dog is such a fish out of water, what if he ultimately leads to their downfall? Is he disrupting their flow?

You purse your lips, Tooru wouldn't let that happen. If he messes up how they're playing as a whole he'll have him subbed.

Karasuno uses both their time outs as their opposition is out playing them.

"Great job," You give everyone high tens as they come off the court for the second time out Karasuno called. As Mad Dog approaches, aiming to ignore your high five, you step in front of him and clear your throat.

He stares at you with a look of digust, "Just do it she's not gonna move." Mattsun whispers to him, the buzzed boy rolls his eyes and puts his hands up. You hit his hands with a smile, half hoping Iwaizumi is watching you make nice.

"Love the enthusiasm," You pat his back as you walk past, not caring to look at his reaction.

You walk over to Tooru and Iwaiumi who are talking while drinking their waters, "All good?" You ask them, they nod, "Kyotani warmed up agonizingly slow but now he's giving them hell." Iwa grins and you tilt your head in confusion.
