Chapter 13

Although Momos and Poposi were nearby each other, both islands were vastly different in terms of scenery, architecture, and fashion trends.

On the island, there is a palace that was built to commemorate its main contributor. It was named White Swan Palace. And that palace is the very place the dance event on Poposi was being held at.

Once the Student Council members of Momos stepped onto the floor, everyone turned their heads to them in awe of each of their unique charms. Soon, Neelam, Gina, and Maria greeted them as well, thanking them for accepting the invite.

Alexis went to find Su Jung to ask her for a dance. But it turned into a small misunderstanding that led to the two of them going red in the face.

"This is the first time I see Su Jung acting so shy." Maria commented, seeing Alexis's and Su Jung's bashful interaction.

"I'm not looking down on him, but why is a princess who's so beautiful and cool asking him for a dance?" Ciel asked.

"You're looking down on him..."

"Soneone's looks and status aren't important. What's important is their heart." Neelam started.

"A good heart highlights a person's personality. That's what Su Jung said when we first met him." The Indian princess explained.

"Speaking of good hearts, where's Ailana? I don't see her anywhere." Said Maria. And that's when they realised that they were actually short one member. Since Ailana was always quiet, they sometimes forgot she was there. At least until they did something to make her snap.

"We don't know. Since she's the only girl among us, she got her own room. She did say that she would meet us here, though." Leon spoke.

"I carelessly accused her of destroying the stage a while back. So I wanted to apologise. But she came down with a fever before I got the chance to." Maria admitted.

"Don't worry, Princess Maria! Ailana may look cold and scary, but she's actually really sweet and kind. If she really did hold a grudge against you, then you would have been done for by now." Felix casually told her, making the princess sweat drop while Leon shut his mouth, and Albert smacked him behind the head.

"Watch what you say, you idiot!" Ciel quietly chided, fearing that the girl in question may hear them. As if on que, Ailana came slow running towards them, her dress slightly flowing as she did. As she passed by the crowds, multiple heads turned her way in awe.

"I'm sorry for being late. It took me a while to put this on." Ailana explained as she came to a stop behind them.

"Oh, Ailana. You should've asked us for....help...." Gina trailed off, too stunned to speak once her eyes landed on Ailana. The others were the same, too.

Ailana came wearing a soft purple dress with floral details and a fabric belt wrapped around her waist. And on the belt, hung a silver sakura branch ornament. The sleeves of her dress were translucent on the outside while there was another layer of sleeves under it covering her arm.

Her long ash blonde hair cascaded down her back in soft waves with lightly curled strands framing her face. The top left side of her head was adorned with a silver butterfly piece that was glimmering with purple crystals.

"For once, you don't look like a lioness." Ciel's sudden comment broke them out of their stupor. Ailana didn't know whether to thank him or be offended. Though, Albert made the choice for her when he smacked his shoulder.

"Don't mind them, Ailana. We think you look beautiful!" Said Neelam cheerfully.

"This...it's X country's traditional garment,isn't it?" Maria guessed. Their awe struck expression turned to shining curiosity as they gathered closely around her.
