Skye's POV-
I don't remember my parents that much, but i do remember waking up suddenly in a room that wasn't my bedroom back at home. I saw another girl named Tntina, she looked a little older than me and she had brown hair, brown eyes and a red dress on. "Hey, I had heard that you were the new girl" said Tntina. It took me a second to realize she was talking to me before I responded; "Y-y-yes, my name is Skye and I just remember waking up here..." Tntina looked at me before responding with; "I'm so sorry...." I didn't know why she was saying sorry, I thought that my parents would come back and take me home. "Your parents aren't coming back..." Tntina said to break the silence, "I would know, I've been here for 6 years, I was a baby when my parents gave me away to this place." Tntina followed up with. I didn't realize that, I didn't cry, but i was close to.
End of Skye's POV-
Skye was just numb, she was just happy that she didn't have to deal with her parents arguing anymore but she loved her 'parents' but she knew that they weren't coming back for her.
But at least she had her friend Tntina for her til she gets adopted, which Skye hoped that she would get adopted soon, maybe by a rich father and mother or even to just live in a home with an happy family. but for now, she was just happy that she made a friend on her first day at the center.

I'm sorry that my first chapter wasn't long, it's hard to talk as a 2 year old unlike an older age, it will get better I promise, I just haven't wrote in a long time, I'll be writing again!
