Age 6: Getting Along

Skye's POV-

I love my new parents, they're rich and they have a big house just like I hoped for. I got my own room but no phone yet. I tried asking my father but he said I couldn't have one til I turned 13 which is understandable, I am only 6 after all. I do have a sister though, her name is Jules. She doesn't like me too much though, She thinks I'm annoying.

Although, that all changed after my 6th birthday. "Little sis, please open the gift I made you." Jules chimed as I was staring at the gift with excitement. I looked at the gift with a smile on my face before I opened the gift and as soon I saw the gift, I screamed in shock. What was in the gift was a pet that has yellow ears/wings and could turn into hat and a glider as what Jules told me.

"AWWW OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH JULES!!!!!" I beamed as I went to hug Jules.

"No problem Skye, I know it may have seemed like I don't love you. But that's not true, I just wasn't used to having a sister, I've lived most of my life alone with dad and mom. So I'm sorry if it seemed like I didn't love you because I really do. I love you so much little sis." Jules cried as I went to hug her.

"Hey hey Jules, It's okay. I know that you love me big sis." I sobbed as Jules proceeded to hug me back and we cried in each other arms.

I was hanging out in my room, playing with my dolls when my parents walked in; "Hey, we don't think what your sister gave you is an acceptable gift for your age..." My father remarked. "We just think Ollie should stay with Jules til your a little older.." My mother added. I did NOT want Ollie to be taken away after how happy they saw me. There was no chance that was happening.

Still, they took him away even tho I didn't want them too. I begged and begged but they wouldn't budge... I don't understand but at least I have my sister to comfort me.
