She didn't understand the science of it. She didn't even realize how this connection happened.

He slapped her and then what? She wasn't sure. In a few seconds everything changed. He could hear her, like she could hear everyone. But she didn't think he could see like she could, or feel. He could only hear.

He stared at her, hands to his head. She remembered what it was like for her to gain this quirk at first. Scary, overwhelming. He felt the same.

But hearing Aizawa's voice made her remember something.

She had a job to do.

"Never better." Kira said confidently to Aizawa.

Kira knew the ends and outs of her quirk better than anyone. She knew its strengths and... Its weakness... She knew how to defeat Tenya Iida.

She pulled her headphones out and clamped them over her ears. Turning the volume up to its max and screaming to the tune in her thoughts.

"I-I-I'M HOOKED ON A FEELING!!!"

Iida fell backwards in panic. Kira screamed into his head and his mind spiraled into a confused panic. One that was very unnerved by the constant singing in his head.

"I'M HIGH ON BELIEVING!!!"

"KIRA I CAN'T SHAKE TODOROKI!! He's blocking my way. Now's the time to make yourself useful!!"

"Chill you ass Midoriya!!!" Kira Yelled, hitting Iida over the head and knocking him out while he was distracted. The double vision faded as his eyes snapped shut.

"THAT YOU'RE IN LOVE WITH ME!!!"

She didn't stop enjoying her music though. Bolting in the direction of her teammate. She ran, still able to feel Iida's heart, which had slowed down dramatically. She could feel a soft fuzz from his brain.

No matter how far away she got.

She ran, feet pounding on the concrete. She put more and more distance between them but it felt like he could be right next to her.

She didn't know this was happening. But it was, and it was both exciting and irritating. Of all the times for something like this to happen, why during training?

She gasped for breath. She couldn't make it there. Not on her own, Kira was definitely not built for speed. Her run slowed to a jog, then a walk as she past building after building. Still not getting close quickly enough.

Then she passed a parking lot.

Kira wasn't sure what the purpose of these vehicles were. Unless...

She walked over to them. There were a few small cars and one motorcycle. It was a very small model, older too. She walked too it, it had been so long since she'd sat on one.

Her parents both rode. They would let her ride with them. Though they had to be very safe about it. She also rode dirt bikes and minibikes on her own since she was ten.

Her entire life shed listened to her dad's thoughts about the machines. His tactics and process.

She knew how to operate one.

She checked it, finally finding the button. To her surprise the small vehicle stuttered to life. Bouncing and choking as it's engine began to idle.

No way, no fucking way.

She got on. She felt nervous doing so without a helmet. She'd always have helmets on when operating something like this. But life was too short to wear helmets.
