Kimberly POV:

The anticipation of my date with Aidonia made my stomach flutter with a mix of excitement and nerves. As the day approached, I found myself unable to focus on anything else. My friends, sensing my anxiety, rallied around to offer their support.

"Okay, first things first," T said, her voice filled with determination. "We need to find you the perfect outfit."

We rifled through my closet, trying on various dresses and combinations until we settled on a simple yet elegant outfit. Davi handed me a pair of statement earrings, while T helped style my hair into loose waves.

"You look stunning," Nadia said, stepping back to admire their handiwork. "Aidonia won't know what hit him."

I smiled, feeling a surge of confidence wash over me. "Thanks, guys. I couldn't have done this without you."

As the clock neared seven, my nerves intensified. The sound of a car pulling up outside sent my heart racing. I took a deep breath and grabbed my purse. My friends gathered around me, offering last-minute encouragement.

"Just be yourself," T said, giving me a reassuring squeeze. "You got this."

I nodded and made my way to the door. Aidonia stood beside his car, looking effortlessly cool in a tailored shirt and dark jeans. His eyes lit up when he saw me, and he flashed a warm smile.

"You look beautiful, Kimberly," he said, opening the car door for me.

"Thank you," I replied, feeling a blush creep up my cheeks.

The drive to Plat du Jour was filled with easy conversation. Aidonia had a way of making me feel comfortable, and soon my nerves began to dissipate. We talked about music, our favorite movies, and shared a few laughs about our childhood misadventures.

When we arrived at the restaurant, Aidonia led the way to a cozy corner table. The ambiance was perfect – dim lighting, soft music, and an air of intimacy that made it feel like we were the only two people in the room.
