I was opening the door of my closet, and slipping into my oversized hoodie. I received a vibration inside my pockets. It was my Mother...
"It must be urgent." I thought.
You headed out of your room. Locked your dorm, and took out your phone. "What's with the call this late at night, Mother?" I asked. You were immediately regretting answering her phone call, while outside.
"I've been informed, you were caught cheating on a final test. Can you confirm this?" I heard while feeling a drop of sweat falling down my face.
"T-that wasn't me, Mother... You know I would never do such a thing!" Telling the truth or not, her resentment is on me and no one else.
"Jaehyun, I know you understand how much your Father and I invested for you to be a successful lawyer in the future, correct?"
"I understand clearly, Mother," I told her confidently, ending the call as soon as possible. After the call, I soon saw the bus arriving so I went in. Sitting on the window seat, I took out my phone and earphones. Hearing the bracing music, I enjoyed the midnight view for the last time.
"I won't regret this," I said to myself. "Or will I?"
