Around 10 minutes later, I stopped to walk to a nearby river. Stepping out of the bus, I looked around quickly and began walking towards a small bridge.

'It's quite empty tonight.' I thought. 'It will be less of a struggle.'

It was an aged, small road with barely any working street lights. It was midnight, with little to no noise. I thought I would be alone, but when I came upon the bridge, a girl was standing in the middle of it.

'This is something an idiot will do' I said to myself, while slowly walking towards her.

"Hello?!" I yelled, with no response back.

'Is this a scene from a horror movie?' I thought while her head turned slightly towards me.

"Why are you here?" She asked me. "It's past midnight, and I know you're not from here. I don't remember seeing you."

'She saw through me instantly.' I thought.

"I just wanted to see this view you were pointing out earlier." I faked my laugh to try to cancel our awkwardness.

"You're crazy. We're seeing nothing right now." She switched up.

"What?!" I was in disbelief. "Y-you said the view is nice."

"It is nice. The dark reminds me of my emptiness."

The mood wasn't good in the first place, but she just made it go down even more. Did we come here together for the same reason? Is she okay?

"Why did you come here-" I was interrupted by her.

"I will be going now. Enjoy the view and don't tell anyone I was here!" She walked away in the distance.

I never experienced such a thing. I stared at the river and looked back at her. Little did I know, she was already gone. She looked similar. She seemed to be someone I've met.

After that, I was creeped out and decided to take a bus back home...
