"How do we get the diadem?" Sirius asked the group.

"I know how, but your wedding might be slightly delayed," Jamie said.

"What about what changed with the ring?" Bellatrix asked.

"What do you mean?" others asked.

"Isn't it on the Dark Lord?" Narcissa asked.

"He didn't have it, but his eyes were clearer so we don't know—what did you do Jamie?" Lucius said, his comment turning into a question upon seeing the mischievous look on Jamie's face.

"The ring should be arriving for me to take," she said.

They heard the pop of apparition and they all curled their lips in disgust as their nose scrunched up. Cannibal appeared with bowls for Alice and Narcissa in case they needed to throw up.

"Mikael, Marcel, my puppet," Jamie introduced them to a ragged looking red head stepping into the room holding up a ring on a decaying hand. She reached her hand out making the others panic slightly before remembering that she would be fine. The ring dropped on her hand with a green glow, "Go back to Godric's Hollow and be sure to cover that hand," she said, dismissing him. "Mikael, come with me." Mikael's eyes widen in surprise and Klaus looked alarmed.

"I'll be fine," she said to Klaus, she looked at Mikael, "Let's go."

The Original Father walked out of the room and followed her until they were in a good apparition spot. "I need you to speed me to the correct room. Up the stairs, left wing, last door on the left," she said and then apparated them there. Mikael took a moment to adjust before picking Jamie up and following the directions. He was hit with an aura as Jamie opened the door. Jamie tossed the ring in and shut the door. "What was that?" Mikael gasped out.

"That was horcruxes when they're together," Jamie said. Suddenly another elf appeared in front of them, "Mistress Jamie get cleansed," the elf demanded with their hands on their hips.

"Yes, Penny, I know," Jamie grumbled going into another room.

Soon she exited, seeing Mikael still standing there, "Your turn," she said.

"Huh?"

"You were exposed to the aura. My elves tracked down the other Blacks that dropped off the cup and the ring and cleansed them of that aura. While I might not be fully affected by it as I'm related to the owner of the soul pieces, doesn't mean the other pregnant witches are the same," Jamie pointed out.

Mikael went and got cleansed and soon the two were walking out of the manor. Mikael looked around in awe. "Did you never get to look at gothic architecture?" Jamie asked.

"No, I was...busy," Mikael said looking down a bit.

"Well, most older buildings owned by pureblood families have gothic architecture of some sort," Jamie pointed out.

"They do?"

"Yes, the Malfoys have a gothic like Manor, the Blacks have an obsession with it, so do the Peverells. This is where the Gaunt side of the Peverell Family lived. There's a secondary one which is the main Peverell Manor or the Potter side. It's our only main one that's gothic like because we had to keep that image that we weren't dark," Jamie said.

"So what were we at?" Mikael asked.

"A Potter-Black property. Homey got gothic-y," she said, "Where we're at now is the Potter Manor. Also very gothicy and homey, but it's where I grew up."

They arrived back at the Potter Manor but stayed outside. "How have you and Nik been?" Jamie asked. The two had gone out to explore the property the other day.

"I'm trying, but I don't know how to communicate with him." Mikael admitted.

"You can communicate with him over your newly found shared hatred of Esther," Jamie said with a shrug.

Mikael smiled a little bit, "It's just as I've seen him still tensed. I know it's partly because of what I did to him growing up, but I feel as if there's something more,"

"It's because he can't shift," Jamie told him.

Mikael looked a bit ashamed again. "he only felt his bond with me slightly, at least until Freya could break through to his wolf a little bit—that was a fun night," Mikael cringed, "But he also has that urge for that change, to be able to run through the forest on all four legs. I don't think he looked forward to the pain of it again, but Freya and I already are encouraging him to give it a shot because he should be able to shift anytime he wanted. I didn't fully understand his feeling at first, but now I do," Jamie explained.

"What do you mean?"

"Wizards and Witches of our kind can gain the ability of being an animagus and we can shift into an animal. Granted it's painless compared to a werewolf, but when you're a witch who can't safely shift into their animal form without possibly risking a baby, it becomes difficult," Jamie explained, "I want to just run in the forest with Padfoot and Moony behind me playing tag with each other."

"Who's that?"

"Padfoot is Sirius, he's also an animagus—one of a Black Dog called a Padfoot. Moony is the name we call Remus' wolf. We had found out magical wolves won't attack animals so us along with Peter changed into animagi to keep him company. I know they won't let me out there until I've given birth," Jamie said.

"I cannot believe we get Henrik back," Mikael said.

"Hey, that's another thing you can do with Nik. Build a nursery for him," Jamie suggested.

"It's an idea," Mikael said.

"I don't know how much Henrik is going to retain from his previous life, but I would like him to still have connections with his Norse heritage," Jamie said with a small smile. "By the way, did Esther name him?"

"No, I did," Mikael answered.

"Good, I liked the name. didn't want to change it to spite the woman," she said getting up feeling her hybrid mate getting anxious. Mikael let out a laugh behind her and followed her in.
