Chapter Twenty-Five

Narcissa and Jamie safely floo'd into the Malfoy Manor with their significant others catching them. It had been a few months since the arrival of the Gaunt Ring and they only had the ring, locket, and cup. They had to get the diary.

Narcissa quickly went away complaining about how she was not flooing anymore until their baby was born. She was already pushing six months and was not chancing it anymore. Jamie, however, being five months pregnant, could still move about. By now it had gotten out that Lady Potter was pregnant but she was avoiding interviews and making sure her puppet didn't do any interviews either and was mysteriously avoiding Dumbledore. The only thing Jamie did say to the papers was that she had not spoken to Dumbledore so she didn't know why he was commenting about her pregnancy.

A thump made them all jump and Liam's body slowly stood up. "He's starting to look disturbing," Lucius said, staring at the muggleborn wizard. Liam's skin was a sickly gray color by then and his facial features drooped and his hair was falling out. Jamie rolled her eyes and snapped her fingers and Liam suddenly looked like he did when he was still alive.

"Better?" Jamie sassed.

"Much," Lucius spun around and walked out of the room. Jamie rolled her eyes and shared a look with an amused Klaus as they followed after, Liam following behind. They made their way to the farthest library. "Father had this made away from where the family normally is under Tom's order. He didn't want us to be affected by the horcrux. That's the other reason Cissa left. I know Jamie has better tolerance with the diary," Lucius explained.

Jamie nodded and looked at Liam, "Follow Lucius and grab Tom Riddle's diary and follow Lector to another manor to drop it off and let him cleanse you," she ordered.

Lucius and Liam made their way down to a hidden library to the farthest door to the farthest wall and opened a hidden compartment. Lucius moved out of the way and Liam grabbed the newly revealed diary. He sensed Klaus and Jamie leaving so he went to go check on Narcissa after the muggle born corpse had left.

When he checked on her, she seemed to be alright so he went to check if the diary had been dropped off and got a confirmation.

Klaus and Jamie appeared back in the Potter Manor. She left him to go take a nap and he went to the Heir Room where Henrik would hopefully spend his childhood and to his surprise found Mikael and Marcel in there.

"What are you two doing in here?" Klaus asked.

"I asked Jamie how you and I could connect a bit better. She had the suggestion about the nursery because she wanted a bit of Norse applied to the room. Then I had the idea for Marcel to add a bit of New Orleans," Mikael said. He had been painting Norse symbols next to what Klaus knew to be the Potter wards in the room. Klaus thought adding the symbols would be great at camouflaging any wards or runes that were added.

The crib was styled in a way that reminded Klaus of New Orleans. It wasn't fully put together and Marcel was carving the parts like Klaus had taught him. Klaus smiled and sat down next to Marcel and helped carve the pieces going by the design Marcel had drawn out while Mikael continued drawing his own protections on Henrik's room.

They paused when the symbols seemed to glow. They all wondered what happened but then Fleamont Potter entered the portrait nearby. "Since Jamie and Klaus are soulmates with Death all the pantheons in a sense know the versions of Death and Loki who just made that symbol glow is the father of Hel, the goddess of Death in their pantheon. Oh, Hel acknowledged it too," Fleamont said, adding the last part after the symbols glowed again.

"Cool," Marcel couldn't help but say. He may have named after a Roman God but he did have plenty of knowledge of the Norse from Klaus' stories of what he overheard from Mikael when he would tell the others. He wondered if the Original Father was going to say more stories that he never got to when they were all human.

They continued that way for a while before Marcel got his wish as Mikael explained the runes he put up. None of them noticed Jamie woke up from her nap and watched until she gasped making the three speed over to her.

"Are oyu okay?!" Klaus asked in a panic.

Jamie froze wide eyed before snapping out of it before Klaus had to pull out more carrots. "Henrik kicked," she told them, holding her belly. The three looked down at the belly in awe before Jamie grabbed Klaus' hand it stuck on the side of her stomach where he felt the small kick. Mikael and Marcel smiled when they saw the tears forming in Klaus' eyes as he felt his son (who was his reincarnated brother) move around. Both were sure Henrik II would bring a great change for the middle Mikaelson.
