" Subh-bakhair." Aarish greeted loudly sitting on the dining table.

" Subh-bakhair." Hashir greeted back with a nod.

" I'll help bhabhi." Aashna said walking towards the kitchen.

" It's ok Aashna, everything's done." A beautiful petite lady entered the room with a jug in one hand, and tray holding glasses in another.

" Thank you." The lady smiled at Hashir who took the tray from her seeing her struggling to balance it.

" Apne bhaiya se kuch seekhte kyun nhi tum Aarish?" Aashna scoffed pulling a chair for herself and sitting beside Aarish whereas Hashir pulled a chair with his left hand for his wife and took the tray with his right hand.

" Wo toh mujhse seekhte hain!" Aarish laughed.

" Kuch kaha Aarish?" Hashir turned towards him with a blank face.

" Paani dena bhaiya." Aarish was quick to rephrase his words.

" Hn, dubna h inko." Aashna smiled.

" Ohh darling doobne ke liye tumhari aankhein kaafi hain." Aarish winked at Aashna.

" Jispe chashme ka pehra h?" Aashna asked.

" You guys are so funny." The lady laughed cutely.

" Thanks bhabhi." Aarish winked at her as well.

" Aye, teri biwi udhr h." Hashir warned.

" Kya jealous hone lgte ho bhaiya. So insecure you are!" Aarish shook his head.

" Hashir." Hashir ignored Aarish and turned towards his wife.

" Jee Hareem?" Hashir asked his wife, who was sitting on his left.

" Mummy called today, bula rhi thi mujhe. Kaafi din hogya hai na gye huye." Hareem, Hashir's wife softly told him.

" Hmm, ready ho jaao tumlog. I'll drop on my way." Hashir said serving some kheer in a small bowl.

" Ready toh hain hum lekin aapki permission chahiye thi." Hareem slowly whispered.

" Kaisi permission?" Hashir frowned.

" Can I stay for a night? Pleaseee, it's been weeks since I slept there." Hareem pouted.

" No Hareem, you won't stay there for nights. Aap kal bhi jaiye, parson bhi jaiyee but you'll spend the night with me." Hashir straightly refused.

" Hashir-"

" No. Get the kids ready as well." Hashir said serving some toast in her plate.

" We will get ready then. Excuse me." Hareem stood up softly pushing the plate aside she went upstairs.

Sighing at her back Hashir served some more kheer in his bowl, placing the bowl on the plate he stood up.

" Excuse me." Hashir too followed his wife's footsteps.

" Aarish." Aashna nudged her husband.

" Hnn?" Aarish hummed.

" Why are bhaiya and bhabhi soo- distant?" Aashna asked thinking for a minute.

" You think they are distant?" Aarish smiled amused.

" Ofcourse they are! Mujhe iss ghar me shaadi kiye aaj 10 din hogye. Never once I saw them goofing around together, making memories, showering the other with love the way we do." Aashna said distressed.

" Jo qurbat un dono k darmiyan h na meri Jaan, itna qareeb toh aaftab bhi nhi h falak se." Aarish smiled fondly.

" Yes you won't see them goofing around like us because they aren't fan of PDA like us, sabka muhabbat jtane ka andaz alg hota h." Aarish continued.
