Inside Tzuyu's room, the air was filled with a sense of anticipation and bittersweet farewells as he meticulously packed for his flight later that night.
"Here are the sweets and savories. Keep them in the bag." Min-young entered the room with Momo and Sana, her expression tinged with a hint of sadness as she handed the savories to Tzuyu.
"Thanks, Mom" Tzuyu sweetly thank her mother thinking she made them.
"I didn't make them," Min-young reply.
"Did you..?" Tzuyu began to ask Momo, but she shook her head and nodded toward Sana, who offered a shy smile in response. Tzuyu returned the smile, gratitude shining in his eyes as he accepted the homemade treats.
"Sana made them. Don't you dare distribute them amongst friends!" Min-young scolded him gently, her maternal protectiveness shining through even in her sadness.
"When will you return?" Min-young's voice wavered with emotion as she posed the question to Tzuyu, her heart heavy with the impending separation.
"How can I say?" Tzuyu replied softly, his own sadness mirrored in his mother's eyes as he understood the depth of her emotions.
"Only till the exams. Then he'll be with yours," Dahyun's voice broke the solemn moment as he entered the room with Chaeyoung.
"Write a love letter to Mom every day instead of to Sana," Chaeyoung joked, attempting to lighten the mood with a playful jest.
"You spoke again!" Min-young scolded Chaeyoung lightly, though a hint of amusement twinkled in her eyes.
"The flight is on time, Hurry up. You come here, I'll show you!" Min-young ushered Chaeyoung out of the room with Dahyun, her hand gently twisting Chaeyoung's ear in a playful gesture as they left.
"Shall we leave?" Momo's voice broke the somber silence, drawing Sana's attention. Sana nodded in response, her gaze momentarily lingering on Tzuyu before she turned to follow Momo.
As they began to leave, Momo walked ahead with purpose, while Sana trailed behind, lost in Tzuyu's eyes, a silent exchange of emotions passing between them.
Caught in the intensity of their unspoken connection, Sana failed to notice when Momo came to a sudden stop. With a startled gasp, she collided with Momo's back, her momentum abruptly halted.
Turning around, Momo couldn't help but smirk at the sight of Sana's sheepish expression. "You may stay," she teased, a playful glint in her eyes as she gestured towards the room.
Sana's cheeks flushed with embarrassment as she glanced down, feeling a rush of warmth at Momo's teasing words.
With a knowing smile, Momo left the room, leaving Sana and Tzuyu alone in the quiet space. As the door closed behind her, the atmosphere seemed to shift, enveloping them in a cocoon of shared emotions and unspoken longing.
As they stood in the quiet intimacy of the room, bathed in the soft glow of afternoon sunlight filtering through the curtains, Sana and Tzuyu found solace in each other's presence. Despite the heaviness in their hearts at the prospect of separation, they drew strength from the depth of their bond, knowing that their love would carry them through the challenges ahead.
"Tzuyu," Sana began softly, her voice trembling with emotion as she searched for the right words to express the tumult of feelings swirling within her.
Tzuyu stepped forward, his gaze filled with warmth and understanding, as he gently prompted her to continue. "Yes, Sana?" he replied, his voice a soothing melody that calmed her troubled heart.
"I'm going to miss you so much," Sana confessed, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. "The thought of being apart from you feels... overwhelming."
Tzuyu nodded in silent agreement, his own heart heavy with the weight of impending separation. "I know, Sana. I feel the same way," he admitted, his voice tinged with sadness. "But we'll get through this together. Just a couple of months, and then we'll be together forever. Nothing and no one will ever be able to keep us apart."
