Prologue

"see here, in the water."
Avantika said and I looked in the water and saw the face of my soulmate. Wait , he is not Indian. He has platinum blonde hair with Sharp grey eyes, sharp jaw and tall height probably 6'7 which is very much for a 5'4 girl like me and wait, why is he looking towards this way? Who is he? He wore a British Officer Uniform. So he is a British Officer. I was scared as hell thinking what he will do now but to my suprise he only stared at me as if he was searching for me for a long time or that he finally found the love of his life. I didn't care about that but seeing his face in this pure soulmate pond means only one thing which I don't want to believe ever.

I closed my eyes tightly and when I opened them I again saw him. I turned back and searched for him but now he was gone. What a destiny I have!

Avantika called me and said,"kahan kho gyi thi? Hey bhagwan ye ladki, ek to abhi-abhi yahan se wo angrez dhodte hue gaye h aur ye yahin baithe reh gayi. Wo to bhagwan ka dhanyawad unhone kuch kiya nhi warna kya hota pta nhi. Ab uth chal Ghar, maa ko batati hoon. (Where was your mind? Oh god this girl, first of all those Britishers were running off from here and she remained sitting there. Thank God they didn't do anything or else god knows what would have happened. Now sit up and come with me to home,I'll tell mom.) I was still in daze when she picked me up, took my hand and started walking. Meanwhile I was thinking if he saw me or why was he reacting that way? But one thing is sure, whatever is the reason, I have to stay away from him. He seemed dangerous, I could feel dark aura around him.

"Maa hum Ghar aa gaye. Aapko pta maa aaj Inaaya ki jaan khatre mein padte-padte bachi h." Avantika's mother when heard this she ran towards me and checked for any injury. I told her,"Maa mujhe kuch nhi hua h, main bilkul thik hoon. Unhone kuch nhi kiya." Still she was crying and hugged me tightly. She is like this always get emotional easily. When she pulled back, I cupped her cheeks and assured her that I am fine and she finally relaxed a bit. She asked us what happened and Avantika told her everything. She scolded me pretty much and then went to her work. And we walked of to our room.

We both used to sleep on the same bed.(Well it's not exactly a bed but in old age people of India used to sleep on grass or ground with some bedsheet. Only rich people had bed in their mansion.) So now we were sitting on our bed when I asked her who were those Britishers and she suddenly got paled and said,"I don't know all of them but the head officer's name is um....He.....Han......Hanry, I think because he is rumoured to be very merciless and cruel. No one can escape his wrath not even officers working under him that's why we all are scared of him very much."

Ok so his name is Henry. I then asked her what he looked like and what she said shook me to the core. "He has white hair, tall height, grey eyes and sharp jaw."

So the one that was staring at me was that cruel Head Officer. Now what will happen to me? I am already stuck in one problem that I got stuck in this era and now this.

Oh god please don't increase my problems.

Then we both prayed before sleeping and went off to sleep.

"Who was that beauty?"

I heard myself saying for fifth time already in this whole day. I don't know what will happen in one year. I never felt like this. Not even in my country and never gave a thought about it. I don't believe in soulmates but I think she is the one for me.

What is happening with me? What are you doing to me, my love? I can't seem to see another day without you. I want to have you in my arms and I will have you and then everyone will know that you belong to me and no one else will dare to even look at you.

This time it was important and I was not confirmed about my feelings so I  let you be but from now onwards nothing is more important than you and I make will sure of it. The next time we meet, I will not let you go. I will marry you and make you my wife and mother of my children.
