Chapter 17

I am so angry right now. I couldn't see my love in this whole past week whenever I went out for patrolling. I searched for her everyday like a madman but I couldn't see her anywhere. It was as if she vanished and I didn't like that. I swear the moment she'll be mine, I wouldn't let her get away for even a second. I would make her sit and be in front of me 24/7, even if I have to force her to do that. She is mine and she has to be with me everytime without any hesitation. I couldn't care less about my paperwork and tax collection as my mind was already filled with her thoughts only and not seeing her beautiful brown eyes, her cute nose, her plump lips, her perfect body and her overall her beautiful self, I am so in rage that I can comfortably burn a whole city down right now. I told my men also to search for her, but even they were useless and couldn't find a single thing about my darling. And because they couldn't complete the task, they are all dead now. I killed them all to take my anger out.

Right now, I am doing some paperwork but only she is coming in mind. Her pretty smile is the only thing that's reflecting in my papers. I was in my thoughts when suddenly, there came some knocking sound on my door. I allowed that person to come in and saw that it was my nephew, Easton. He came in, stood in front of me and made a request to show him the village. I was about to decline but then I thought that maybe if I can see my love this time then why not give it a try. So, I agreed. And he happily went to get his horse ready.
I also closed my files and went to get ready.

After 45 minutes

I was in the stable, scratching the horse when I saw Easton coming towards me with his horse. Surprisingly, his horse was of the same size as mine even though Easton was only 13.

Anyways, we sat on our horses and left for the village.

In about 30 minutes, we reached the village and this time, I decided to stroll with my horse as I wanted my love to see me in my officer self. I looked at the village and there was not a single person out of their homes. Not anything unusual, I looked at Easton as I thought that he might be disappointed but instead he looked natural as if this was usual for him too. Strange. Anyways, I took my horse towards the lake where I first saw my beautiful darling. Hoping, that she would be here but it looks like luck is not helping me either as there was no sign of her. I ran my eyes here and there but no trace of her. Just when I was at the end of the riverside, I felt someone presence behind me and Easton and it was like
someone is keeping an eye on us. Being taught to be a Colonel, also taught to be alert all the time. So, without wasting any time, I turned around and started looking here and there until my eyes fell on a small but petite brunette girl sitting on a tree branch and staring. Unknowingly, I smiled wishpering,"My Love!!"

Finally, finally I found her. I knew I could see her if I came like this and I saw here but what pained my heart was, the moment she spotted me looking at her, she jumped down. No, not this time. I am not letting you go this time when I know where you live.

I told Easton to go in front without me as I have some important work to do (While looking at the tree, Inaaya was on). I took my horse near a tree, tied him up there and walked towards my love's house.

When I reached there, I knocked on the door but no one answered the door. I thought that maybe she is being shy and considering whether she should open the door or not but when no sound or reply came from her, I knocked again but still no answer.

Darling, you don't know that you are increasing my anger. You yourself don't know the consequences of pulling this stunt of ignoring me. I don't want to punish you but you are leaving me with no other option.

After 2-3 minutes, I started banging on the door but said nothing. Few moments later, I heard a soft and heavenly voice,"kaun hai?"(Who's there?) And that's it, I stopped banging the door, stopped knocking, thinking, heart beat, even breathing.

Finally my love's voice!!

It sounded so gentle, soft, as if it's the most pleasant sound that even this world is not capable of having it. My world stopped the moment I heard her angelic voice. Her voice sounded as if honey is dripping from her mouth and I would happily shallow that without letting any drop reach the ground because not even this earth is suitable to have her taste but only me. She will be my goddess and I will be her devil.

I won't allow anyone to hear her voice when she will be mine, only I will have the right. She will be mine to keep, mine to care, mine to love and mine to fuck, not a single person including women will be allowed to go near her.

With these thoughts in my mind for 5 minutes, I said,"My Lady" but she didn't answer. Quite stubborn, I see. I will have to teach to not provoke my anger or it might be bad for her. I again calmly said,"Darling" but yet again silence. That's it, now my anger is getting out of leash. I again banged on the door but before I could do anything more, I heard Easton calling out to me so I had no option but to leave her right now.

I eventually left but not without saying,"My Lady, this time again you win because Easton is here but from the next time onwards, don't let me break in and force you to talk to me and don't you dare to defy me or you wouldn't like the consequences, honey. I am going now but I will come again for you so be prepared, my prey." I know she is scared of me at this point but she brought this on herself, I tried my best to be a gentleman. But not anymore, I have waited enough now, not anymore. Just few more days, Darling, enjoy your freedom. After these few days are over, I will come for you and you better be prepared cause I don't know what letting go means and don't expect me to hear a no from you.

Thinking that, I unleashed my horse, sat on it's back and went back to the mansion with Easton.
