Anirudh and Bondita were on their way to Bondita's maternal home for a post-marriage ritual.

Anirudh was driving the car while Bondita sat beside him, her eyes filled with a mixture of excitement and nervousness.

She couldn't wait to see her mother but she was also dreading the encounter with her cruel aunt and uncle who had tried to sell her off to an old man.

As they neared the familiar neighborhood, Anirudh sensed Bondita's unease and reached out to hold her hand.

She looked at him, her eyes searching for reassurance, and he gave her his most charming smile.

ani : Bondita jab tak main tumhare saath hu tumhe darne ki ya ghabrane ki koi zarurat nahi hai.

he said gently.

She felt a wave of gratitude wash over her and whispered,

bon : Thank you, Patibabu.

ani : bondita agar tumhe bura na lage toh ek baat puchu?

she nodded.

ani : tumhe english kaise?

bon : zyada nahi aati bass kabhi kabhi padh liya karti thi, mere kuch dost hai gaav mein woh jaate hai na school toh woh mujhe sikha diya karte the.

ani : accha, aur sikhna chahogi.

her eyes got wide at his question, the women were not allowed to study.

bon : aap sachme sikhayenge.

ani : haa kyu nahi, agar tum chaho toh.

bon : lekin humare gaav mein sab kehte hai ki ladkiyon ko shiksha ka adhikar hi nahi hai isiliye toh mujhe chup chup akr padhna padta tha.

he clutched the steering wheel.

ani : nahi bondita shiksha par sabka adhikar hai.

she smiled.

When they finally arrived at Bondita's house, she was so overcome with joy that she forgot about Anirudh sitting next to her.

She dashed out of the car and ran inside, leaving Anirudh chuckling behind her. He couldn't help but smile at her child like enthusiasm.

bon : kaisi hai maa?

sumati : main thik hu tu kaisi hai.

bon : main toh bohot khush hu.

sumati : jamaibabu nahi aaye.

ani : main yaha hu maa, aapki beti aapse milne ke liye itni utsahit thi ki bhul gayi peeche main bhi hu.

she chuckled.

he took her blessings.

sumati : arey jamaibabu mere pair kyu chu rahe hai.

ani : aapka beta hota toh aap asshirwad dete na toh kya main aapka beta nahi hu.

sumati : hai par.

ani : toh phir aashirwad de dijiye.

she smiled.

sumati : humesha khush rahiye.

they saw mama and mami which scared bondita while anirudh clenched his fist.

Mami was burning in jealousy seeing bondita in costly clothes and jewellery.

she was going to touch their feet but anirudh held her hand.

ani : aise logo ke paav chu kar hum apne sanskaaro ka bhi apmaan karte hai bondita isiliye rehne do.

they turned and saw saurabh and sampurna.

they smiled.

anirudh hugged saurabh and bondita hugged sampurna.

saurabh : chote malik aap yaha.

ani : phir chote malik saurabh.

saurabh : accha anirudh babu bass.

ani : haa, bondita ke saath aaya tha rasam ke liye.

saurabh : hum bhi ussi ke liye aaye hai.

bon : kaisi hai didi.

sampurna : ekdum thik aur tujhse mil kar bilkul thik ho gayiz, maa baba ki taraf se main maafi maangti hu bondita.

bon : tu maafi mat maang didi.

ani : haa sampurna tum maafi mat maango , jinn logo ne yeh kiya hai aur jinhe maafi maangni chahiye unhe koi pachtawa nahi hai.

mama and mami gulped.

bon : namaste saurabh dada.

saurabh : namaste choti malkin.

bon : kya dada main aapko dada keh rahi hu aur aap mujhe choti malkin, bilkul nahi.

he laughed.

saurabh : ab lag raha hai aap anirudh babu ki patni hai.

she blushed.

Whole day bondita spent time with her mother and sampurna, anirudh was happy seeing her smiling.

At night after dinner, it was time to sleep.

ladies were sleeping inside the house while men were sleeping outside.

Anirudh wasn't able to sleep outside.

he was toddling here and there changing sides.

he felt a hand on his shoulder. he immediately turned.

before he can say anything a palm was on his mouth.

he saw bondita and got mesmerized seeing her in the night beauty, open hair and without jewellery.

she saw his gaze and immediately removes her hand.

ani : tum soyi nahi abhi tak.

bon : woh main aapse puchne aayi hu kya hua aapko, so nahi paa rahe na.

ani : nahi main bilkul thik hu.

bon : patibabu mujhse jhuth mat boliye kabse dekh rahi hu aapko jagah badalte hue kya hua.

ani : woh pehli baar aise so raha hu na isiliye aur upar se macchar.

bon : pata tha mujhe yeh adrak lijiye isse apne jeb mein rakh dijiye macchar nahi aayenge.

ani : kya..bondita yeh kya karwa rahi ho tum mujhse aur yeh ajeeb si gandh.

bon : iss ajeeb si gandh se hi macchar nahi aate thoda mushkil hoga par agar abhi sona hai na toh yeh karna hoga, sorry patibabu aapko aise.

ani : nahi nahi bondita its okay, woh toh kabhi aise soya nahi na isiliye.

he took the ginger from her.

ani : tum jaake so jao hume subah jaldi nikalna hai.

she nodded..!!!!
