The year 2027, January, 2 years of our marriage! This journey for sure was the most beautiful journey till now! And I was on cloud nine when I got to know I was pregnant! A few days back, I got to know that I was pregnant, and I literally was so happy, but I still haven't told shubman about it! But I knew for sure he would be the happiest, though he thought that he was not ready to have one because he thinks he can't be the best father, but I am sure he will be the bestest father ever! With shahneel Di's help I decorated the living room , as keart mumma , and I then served some sweets and gajar ka halwa which he liked the most.

Keart: beta, done , now chalo, and sit like tum bohot sad ho, and panic kar rhi ho.

I nodded as shahneel di had tied up the balloons so when we will reveal about it to shubman , the balloons will go up.

He entered inside as I started with my act

Shubman: mumma? Y/n ? Kya hua?

Keart:kake tu Aisa kaise kar sakta hai! Yeh umeed nhi thi.

She spoke as shubman dropped his cricket kit, and sat down on his knees holding my hand, oh god I can't control anymore, I want to laugh at his scared face.

Shubman:I am going to be a father yeah- wait - WHATTTTT!

He said his eyes widened as I nodded with a huge smile , as he got up jumping as then he sat down beside me , and as planned the ballons went up and I handed shubman a box.

It has my ultrasound reports, test reports and all.

His voice filled with love , as we looked at eachothers eyes , promising about everything, getting better for our child and everyway we could become best!

After some months.

The world cup 2027,and it was the month of June , selection was going on , and we were here at the Wankhede stadium, well about me and the baby, we were doing good ,  I was 6 months pregnant now and we didn't wanted to reveal it now not before I hit my 9th month. So I was wearing a flowy skirt which would hide my baby bump perfectly,or I thought so . So the captain for this series was about to be said today , and I really hoped for the best! We wags were standing at the boundary as the team was standing right infront of us , some metres away.

Rahul Dravid: so today we have gathered here , to announce our captain and vice captain for this world cup! Everyone present here did an absolute great job with the earlier series and we thankfully won those series too, and today all of their lady lucks except some , who are single, are here too! So for our captain! We have Shubman Gill!

My eyes widened as I clapped followed by the other wags ! He looked happy and proud of himself as he shooked his hand with Rahul sir!

Rahul:and for vice captain, we have Ishan kishan! As he did his absolute best in those series, his knocks and everything were perfect so yeah! I would like to call y/n and bhumika to give these badges to your husband and the cap too, it should be done by you guys as you stood beside them no matter what!

I felt emotional as we did as asked as then he hugged me as I hugged him tightly.
