Felicia's Point of ViewWithin an hour of Don Patrizio's departure, three of his men showed up out of the blue. The men told Pappa Lorenzo and Mamma Bianca that Don had ordered them to transport Mira to the warehouse for further interrogation. To confirm this, they placed a call to Don, but his phone was answered by Leo. Leo confirmed what the men said. That was enough for Pappa Lorenzo to release Mira to the men. I had my doubts so I tried calling the Don again. This time, his phone was switched off and I couldn't reach his subordinates. Something just didn't feel right but maybe I am just being too paranoid.

The clock read 14:05...
The peace of the entire house was being ruined by Bella and Gio's playful noises. I swear they will bring down the whole house someday. They ran into my room and started jumping on my bed.
"Shh," My hushing fell on deaf ears. I finally gave up and continued to feed Daniel his baby formula.
Suddenly, we heard a gunshot downstairs which startled the life out of us. I quickly put Daniel in his crib. "Stay in here, don't leave the room," I told Gio and his sister.
I left the room and closed the door. The sound came from the living room so I tiptoed out to see what was happening. I stopped in my tracks when I saw Pappa Lorenzo pointing a gun at Don Patrizio's men. There were about seven of them standing at the entrance, and one lying dead on the floor.
Standing behind Pappa Lorenzo were his own men, fifteen of them if I'm not mistaken. The two groups of men stood facing each other and challenging each other. I wondered why Don's men were acting strange, but given the fact that they were fewer in number, I felt I had no reason to worry...until more men showed up and joined them.
They opened fire and started shooting at each other, it turned into a bloodbath right away. I turned on my heels and started running back inside.
I flinched when someone grabbed me from behind. I let out a sigh of relief when I saw Mamma Bianca.
"Sorry I scared you." She kept looking around to make sure no one was coming.
"Who are those men?" I asked breathlessly.
"Mira's men," She answered. "They betrayed my son and are now working for her. They came in asking for Gio. We can't let them have him."
I started panicking at this point, hyperventilating even... "What do we do?"
"Calm down," She held up two guns and handed me one, "I trust you know how to handle one of these."
"Yes, I do." I accepted the pistol.
"Let us take the children somewhere safe." She took me by the hand and we continued our way to my room. Thankfully, Daniel had been fed so he wasn't cranky. Gio and Bella must have sensed the tension, hence they complied without objections.
Mamma Bianca led us down the hallway, past the dungeon, and into a study room in the basement. She pushed a button on the desk, and the bookshelves separated and rearranged itself into a hidden door. I had only seen this in movies but never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd experience it. "Go in" She instructed.
