"The Streetpass Plaza has got to be one of the city's most popular hang spots."
It seems as if Hero TJ never runs out of things to say. How long can this guy talk...?
"Hey, are you alright? Am I getting through??"
You snap back to your senses. "Oh! Oh, yeah, I just spaced out for a second..."
TJ smiles. "Now, I've saved the best part for last."
He grabs your arm and runs down the sidewalk, pulling you with him. You don't know whether to be scared or excited...
A few minutes later, TJ unexpectedly stops.
"Look up," he says, excited.
What you see is a huge stadium with the words "SMASH DOME" hanging over the entrance. Your mouth hangs open in disbelief.
"That's Smash Dome. It's a place I helped fund and build, can you believe that? It's a little surreal..."
While TJ rambles on, as energetic as ever, you continue to look up in awe at the massive stadium. The only word that slips out is "Whoa..."
"It's pretty cool, right?" TJ smiles at you, expecting an answer, but then runs ahead of you. "Come on, you've got to take a look inside!"
Realizing a second too late, you quickly follow suit and run into the stadium after him.
The arena Hero TJ leads you into looks like a boxing ring. Nothing too interesting... apart from a poster on the wall to your left with TJ himself on it.
"Is that... you?"
TJ looks over to see the poster as you point to it. "Yep. Ah, Mii V Mii... Now that takes me back. Actually, we're arranging a new tournament soon!" he chirps.
"...We?"
He nods, pointing to another figure on the poster. This one looks eerily similar to TJ.
"DT is helping me out."
You notice that DT has a soul patch, grey skin tone and red eyes, setting him apart from Hero TJ drastically.
"I don't like the vibe he gives off..."
TJ wraps his arm around your shoulder. "He's a little intimidating, yeah. But he's great once you get to know him... and once he lets you, hehe."
Having Hero TJ around you like this feels more surreal than before. It seems you really weren't expecting this...
