Chapter 4 (MIDNIGHT IN FRANCE)

   2 days later, Eva was seen preparing for the trip.
    "Eva, for how long would you be gone" Grace asked Eva. "Mom, I'll be gone for 3 months" Eva replied. "Remember to call me when you reach France" Grace implied.
     "Mom, I'll miss you" Eva said hugging her mom, "I'll miss you too" her mom replied.
     When Eva was done packing a luggage, she bid her mom goodbye while she left the airport where she would be meeting her boss. When she reached to the airport she saw Mr Blackwood waiting for her at the entrance of the airport. "Good morning sir" Eva greeted, Mr Blackwood nodded. "I hope that you are ready for the trip", Mr Blackwood asked her. As she replied him, it was time for their take off and so they went to their plane and they were sitting beside each other.
     When they arrived France, they were greeted by a stunning French woman with a warm smile. "Bonjour, welcome to France, I'm Colette, your liaison for the duration of your stay".
    Ethan nodded curtly, while Eva returned Colette's smile. "Messi, Colette. We are excited to be here" Eva replied.
     Colette led them to a beautiful luxurious villa on the outskirt of Paris, "welcome to your home for the next 3 months" , she said, handing ether is set of keys. Eva's eyes widened as she took in the stunning views of the garden in the distance. "This is incredible" she said with amusement. Ethan smiled, seemingly please do it himself. "I'm glad you like it, this is my French residence and you'll be staying here with me during our time in France" Ethan said.
    As they settled into the villa, Eva couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and neverness. she was determined to prove herself in this new environment, but she was also aware of the challenges that lay ahead.
    Colette them around the villa, introducing them to the staff and explaining the arrangement for their stay. As they unpacked and settled in, Eva began to feel a sense of unease. She was living in a boss's house, and she wasn't sure what boundaries to expect.
     As the days turned into weeks, Eva found a safe grain more and more comfortable in the villa. She and Ethan developed a routine, working together during the day and relaxing in the evening, despite the comfort and luxury of their surroundings, Eva couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. And one night, she was drifting off to sleep then Eva's phone buzzed on her night stand. She reached over her phone to silence it but her eyes widened as she saw the message on the screen. "Meet me in the garden at midnight. Come alone", the message was from an unknown number, an Eva's heart rate as you wondered who could have sent it. She tried to brush it off as a prank, was the word lingered in her mind, a queen with an air of mystery. Despite her reservations, if I found a safe glancing at the clock every few minutes, hack curiosity getting the better of her. As the night wore on, she tried to focus on her work, but a mind kept wandering back to the message. Who could have sent it? And what did they want with her? As the clock struck midnight, Eva made a way to the garden, her senses and high alert. The Moon was full overhead, casting a silver glue over the lush greenery. She walked along the winding path, a heel crunching on the gravel, until she reached a secluded clearing. Under when she saw him- a figure standing in the shadows waiting for her. As she approached the clearing, the figure stepped forward, revealing a man with piercing blue eyes and a chiseled jawline. He was dressed in a black leather jacket and is dark hair was mussed , giving him a rebellious air.
    "Who are you?" Eva asked trying to keep her voice steady.
     "My name is Leon", he replied, his French accent sending a Shiver down a spine. "And you, Eva, are a Long way from home".
   Eva's instincts told her to be wary, but there was something about Leon that drew are in, maybe it was the way he looked at her, with an intensity that made a feel seen and heard.
   "What do you want from me?", She asked, her eyes locked with his.
     Leon smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I want to show you the real France, Eva. The one that lies beyond the tourist traps and the luxury villas. The one that full of passion and fire and life".
    Eva felt a thrill run through her. She had been feeling suffocated by the monotony of her routine, and Leons words be like a breath of fresh air. "And I'll show you the France that will change your life forever".
     Eva hesitated for a moment, her mind racing with the possibilities. And then, with a sense of reckless abandon, she took Leon's hand, and they disappeared into the night, even the villa and a old Life behind.
    As you walked through The winding streets of Paris, Leon showed Eva the hidden gems of the city. Deceived coffee at a charming cafe, watched Street performers in mantmartre, and strolled along the Seine, hand in hand. Eva felt alive, free from the constraints of her corporate life. Leon was mysterious, but is passion for life was infectious, and she found herself laughing and feeling more carefree than she had in years, even when she was with her ex-boyfriend she never felt this kind of feeling before.
    As the night wore on, they found themselves at a secret underground studio, weird review is on talent as a painter. Is hard to work was breathtaking, full of color and emotion, and Eva was struck by the depth of his creativity. They talked long into the night, sharing stories and dreams, an Eva felt a connection with Leon that she couldn't ignore.
