"WHAT AM I looking at exactly?" The year was 1973 in London, warm sunlight shining through the window in the little shitty apartment the May siblings owned and bouncing off the perfectly cut hair of Olivia, who stood before her brother, a hopeful look in her eyes, hands clasped together.

"A song." She nervously chuckled. "Or the makings of a song, at least, I hope."

"Are you ━━ are you sad Via?" Brian raised a brow, concern now clouding his eyes as he passed the paper unto John, who demanded that the rest of the band needed to read it. "If you're sad ━━"

"It's a love song Brian, not a depressing one." Olivia explained, and Freddie caught her eye before clearing his throat, taking the paper from John.

"But his puppy brown eyes make me cry doesn't sound like a love song to me." John commented, shaking his head a little. "This can't be our first song."

"It's what teenage girls want!" The blonde cried, throwing her hands in the air. "You told me to find you a target audience, lovestruck teenage girls will get you money."

"She's not wrong," Freddie cleared his throat again, passing the paper to Roger, who scanned it, shaking his head here and there. "I do like he's got the makings of a Greek God, if I do say so myself."

"Whose side are you on mate?" Brian asked Freddie, who held his hands up in a surrendering manner, mouthing something he couldn't quite catch. "Via, I love you but this, this is actual bull."

Olivia knew her brother and bandmates wouldn't like it, after all they were men and no one except John was her age so she didn't really expect them to understand. After all, the girl did write the song under five minutes after a coffee date ❨ Freddie would like to clarify it wasn't really a date as they were not officially together ❩ with Freddie and she did hope that he'd like it at least.

"It's only bull if you're not in love!" Olivia rolled her eyes, crossing her arms over her chest.

"And you're saying you are?" Her brother asked, opting to sit next to Freddie. When his sister did nothing but blush, he asked with a sigh, "What is his name?"

"And does he know you're a literal monster?" Roger joked, chuckling a bit and John frowned, shaking his head. He thought Roger's constant hassling the girl was childish and unnecessary but he wasn't going to say anything. ❨ Apparently John was too blunt! But really, does saying "my advice? Fuck off," sound too blunt? ❩

"I'm not a monster! And there's no one!" Olivia angrily said, making eye contact with Freddie for the umpteenth time that day. "At least that's what I feel like. I'll be in my room if you need me." Before any of the boys could say anything, Olivia had already marched away, muttering something about wanting to kill Roger and her brother.
